Kenzie's POV

I wake up to the sound of somebody bumping into something. "Shit." The curse under their breath and I relax only to tense up again when all the thoughts of yesterday rush back.

I sit up and look at Aiden standing there with his, picking up whatever fell.

"What are you doing in here?" I ask, my voice sharp and strong. "You're up." He says sounding surprised.

I turn the lamp on and his eyes immediately flick over to Derek's sleeping figure.

"What is he doing in your bed?" He immediately asks and I raise my brow. "Sleeping. What are you doing in my room?" I ask softly and he narrows his eyes.

"I don't like the fact that there is another male in your bed, Mackenzie. Bestfriend or not" He says sternly and the sick side of me wants to bow my head and apologize.

"I don't think you are in any position to be talking about anything like this." I say tiredly and he huffs. I get up and walk out of the room and down to the kitchen.
