The beeping machine kept on going.

Almost on the thin line, I didn't know when I screamed.

“Doctor!” I ran out of her ward.

“Etta, you have to calm down,” Elsie held me tighter.

“My baby can't remember me again,” I burst into tears.

As I watched the doctor inject her to sleep. I wiped off my tears.

“Doctor, is my baby going to be fine?” I stuttered amidst my tears.
