The next morning, I groaned as I opened my eyes, feeling the sunlight streaming through the curtains. I glanced at the clock on the bedside table and cursed. It was already past nine in the morning.

Fuck, I overslept. I rolled over to the edge of the bed.

Remembering the reason why I was so tired. Last night, after dinner with my mates, Sebastian, and Damon in their glorious Lycan form, My elders and Silverstone elders held an emergency meeting about the sudden need to keep both brothers in the pack because they would prove valuable if an invasion from the rogues would occur in either pack.

And when I asked about the last challenge, they told me that it would take place after a week because both brothers needed training and getting used to their Lycans as such beasts needed.

Train for what I asked, and they said that I will see when the time was right

Though it pains me to acknowledge it, there was a hint of hypocrisy in the air.
