Aiden was bleeding.

That was the single thought that ran through my mind as the GPS announced that we were at the right location.

The part was nearly tarred like something you could see in a countryside movie. Little identical houses and pretty picket fences. But I merely had the time to appreciate the view when all I could think of was Aiden, bleeding to death.

I couldn't live it down if it happened. And I couldn't let it happen.

Not after he'd saved my life just days ago.

I realized my cellphone wasn't with me as I searched around.

I cussed out. I was doomed.

"Aiden?" I called loudly, seeing his beautiful skin pale drastically before me. "We're here. What should I do?"

I was a mess. Never been so helpless before.

"Asher." He muttered weakly. "He's coming."

I was confused. I didn't know who Asher was or what he meant.

All I knew was that he, Aiden was in danger. He'd gotten quite a number of bullet wounds
