Author's pov Advika sat on the edge of the bed, her head pounding, her body still weak as if strength had been drained out of her. The room felt unfamiliar-too quiet, too closed in. Then the door opened. She looked up. Her breath caught the moment she saw him. Aviraj stood there, tall and unreadable, the dim light casting shadows across his face. For a second, time seemed to freeze. Fear rushed through her veins, sharp and uncontrollable. Instinct took over. She stood up immediately, her legs trembling beneath her, but she didn't sit back down. She refused to look small in front of him. Her heart was racing, yet she forced herself to meet his gaze, even though every part of her wanted to look away. The air between them grew heavily charged with everything unsaid, everything remembered. He hadn't spoken yet, but his presence alone was enough to make the room feel smaller, tighter, like there was no space left to breathe. "So my little wife is awake," he said, a slow smirk tugging at his lips. "I am not your wife," she said, her voice steady despite the storm raging inside her. Fear pressed hard against her chest, but she didn't let it show not in her eyes, not in her posture. She stood her ground, holding onto that one sentence like a shield, daring him to break it. Aviraj's smirk widened, his eyes glinting with cold amusement. "I like your little defiance," he said, his voice low and teasing, carrying that dangerous edge that made the air in the room feel heavier. Advika's heart pounded, but she squared her shoulders, forcing herself to meet his gaze without showing the fear that was clawing at her from inside. "Fucking leave me," Advika snapped, the words tearing out of her before she could stop them. "I don't want to be with you." Her voice shook at the edges, but her stance didn't. She stood there, fists clenched, breathing hard. fear burning in her chest, anger holding it back. The room felt tighter after her outburst. His expression shifted.not angry, not amused.just controlled. "You're not going to speak to me in that tone," he said calmly, the warning clear beneath his quiet voice. Then he paused, watching her closely. "I have a deal for you." The words cut through her anger, replacing it with wary confusion. Whatever this deal was, she could sense it wouldn't come without a cost. and that realization made her chest tighten even more. "Listen carefully... you will do exactly as I say, or there will be consequences. Obey me willingly, and I might just make this easier for you. Refuse, and... well, you know what happens." Advika's stomach knotted, anger and fear rising together, but she clenched her fists, determined not to give him the satisfaction of seeing her break. "I'll never obey you willingly," she whispered, her voice firm despite the trembling beneath it. "Now you know as a wife you have to fullfill your husband's need but you are not able to got that respect so you will be my fucking mistress you will always available for me . Whenever - wherever I want. By your will or not by your will. " he adds "I will never be that" she shot back, her voice shaking with fury but not breaking. "Never your mistress. Never anything that belongs to you." Aviraj's eyes darkened, his voice low and icy, "You have no right to choose, Advika. Whether you like it or not, you belong to me now." "You know what, Advika Rathod," he said quietly. "This night doesn't end the way you think it does. From now on, you follow my rules completely." "So now advika , my little wife " he continues " strip ".Aviraj's pov I walked toward her slowly. She was laying with her back to me, still curled up on the floor."What the hell are you doing on the floor... and at this late hour?" I asked again. She didn't answer me. My jaw tightened. Why does she always manage to irritate me when I'm already trying to stay calm?I stepped closer and knelt down beside her. Without waiting for a response, I held her shoulders and turned her slightly so she was facing me."Adv..."The word stopped in my throat. Her face.Tears were streaming down her cheeks. Her eyes were red and glossy, and she looked like she had been crying for a long time. For a second, I just stared at her. What the hell? Why is she crying now? A strange irritation mixed with something else tightened in my chest."Why are you crying?" I demanded, my voice lower now. But even as I asked, something about the way she looked made my anger falter."I don't want to tell you," she said, her voice trembling and broken. I exhaled sharply. God...
Advika's pov The long black gown looked beautiful on me. I stood inside the trial room, staring at my reflection in the mirror. The soft fabric flowed down elegantly, hugging my frame before falling smoothly to the floor. For a moment, I almost forgot everything else and just looked at myself. It had been nearly an hour since we arrived at the mall. And in that entire hour, Dadi had bought more dresses than I could even count. Every few minutes she would hand me another gown and tell me to try it on.At first, I didn’t protest. But now I am exhausted.I finally opened the handle of the trial room door and stepped outside.Dadi was sitting on the sofa, patiently waiting for me. Her eyes lifted the moment she saw me. I stopped in front of her.“You look beautiful in this too,” she said with a small approving smile. Before I could even respond, she picked up another gown from the nearby rack and held it out toward me. My eyes widened in shock. Another one? I felt my shoulders slump.“P
Advika's pov The washroom door shut firmly behind me. I stood in front of the mirror staring at my reflection. The phone was still in my hand. Does he really think I’m going to use this? Not gonna happen Does he think I’m that foolish? He didn’t give me this fucking phone out of concern. He gave it to track me so he can monitor me and also tighten the invisible leash he thinks I’m tied to. I looked at my reflection again No I will not let him control me like that. Mr. Monster Ranawat I will never let you control me or track me.My gaze slowly shifted toward the toilet seat. A reckless thought crossed my mind. You really believe you can control me through this device? Never. You may have dragged me here you may have taken me far from my home But you will not control my every movement. I looked at the phone once more. Then, without thinking anything further I threw it into the toilet. For a split second, it floated. Then I pressed the flush Water swirled And it disappeared. My heart p
I am sitting by the window again. The same window i always do . Only an hour has passed since breakfast, and I already feel like the day is moving too slowly. There is nothing to do here. No books. No phone. No conversation. Just walls and time stretching endlessly. But today feels different. Today, I am happy. Truly happy. For the first time since I came to this house, something inside me feels light.I am going outside. It sounds so small. So ordinary. For anyone else, stepping outside is routine Even for me, once upon a time, it was nothing special. But when you’ve been confined to the same room for nearly a month… even the idea of fresh air feels like freedom. Before I could drift further into my thoughts, the sound of the door creaking open broke the silence of the room. I turned my head slightly. It was one of the maids. For a second, I looked back toward the garden, assuming she had come to clean like usual. No one ever came to this room for any other reason. But then she spok
Advika's pov Warm sunlight fell directly across my face, pulling me out of sleep. I frowned and shifted slightly, unwilling to open my eyes. Can’t the sun stay hidden just a little longer?I turned to the other side, burying my face into the pillow and froze. There was someone beside me. My eyes flew open. For a split second, my mind refused to understand what I was seeing. Then it did. It is him. A scream tore out of my throat as I jumped off the bed instantly, stumbling backward until I was standing at a distance. He opened his eyes slowly, clearly awakened by my scream. There wasn’t even panic in his expression. Just calm awareness. From where the fuck he brings this calmness “What the hell are you doing here?” I demanded, wrapping my arms around myself instinctively, as if creating some sort of shield. He didn’t rush to answer.Instead, he picked up a pillow, adjusted it behind his head, leaned back comfortably, and rested his face against his hand all in one smooth, unbothered
Aviraj's pov “Advika, you may go to your room. I need to speak with Avi,” Dadi said calmly.Advika stood up immediately. She didn’t argue or hesitate. She almost looked relieved. I said nothing as she walked away. She left like someone escaping a battlefield. Of course she did. I knew how uncomfortable she felt during dinner. How stiff she had been under Dadi’s questions. She was afraid. Afraid of being judged. Afraid of dadi The moment she disappeared upstairs, Dadi’s gaze hardened.“Why did you marry that bastard’s daughter?” she asked directly. There it was. The real conversation. If Dadi hated her, it would make things easier and Cleaner. Less complicated. “I told you,” I said casually, avoiding her eyes. “Because I wanted to.” Even as I said it, I knew she wouldn’t believe me.“Liar,” Dadi said sharply. “I did not raise a liar. So why are you lying now?” I stayed silent for a second.“I’m not lying, Dadi.” She leaned forward slightly.“You married her for revenge, didn’t yo
