Lucian's POV Without waiting to hear what I had to say, he forcefully released his grasp on my collar and turned to leave. His words angered me but I tried not to let it show. Biting my inner cheeks, I sucked in breath trying hard to control my anger. I hated being in this position, hated being at the mercy of Damon. LUCIAN’S POV I pulled my hair in frustration as I paced up and down in confusion. How did this happen? From the report I received from the guards that found her in the shack, it didn't look like she harmed herself. Besides, she had given up on her earlier intentions to be executed especially when she found out about her baby. She possibly cannot try to harm herself or her child and that only points to the fact that someone else did this to her, but who? It never occurred to me that the woman was going to be attacked.
