ANIKA'S POV:-
"How do you know where they are, my little warrior?" Alpha Thomas asked me in a worried tone. I gulped hard as I heard a low growl that escaped Adam's lips.
"Kyle offered me to go with him. I refused and tried to convince him not to go. I knew that rogues are active nowadays. But he did not listen to me. He went away eventually. The guards do not know anything about it. They are using a secret way out of the territory. I know where they went. Please let me help so I can right what I did wrong." I replied and earned another growl from Adam. I heard his angry footsteps coming towards me. I gulped hard as I knew I was in trouble.
He grabbed me by my shoulders and pulled me up aggressively. I gasped loudly as his nails and his firm hold were starting to hurt me. I was shocked as Adam had never done anything to hurt
ANIKA'S POV:-"Oh my God, it is my fault. It is my fucking fault. I should have listened to you. I made a big mistake. And now the future of our pack is in danger. How am I going to forgive myself ever, if anything happened to Kyle or Skylar? What if Alpha Thomas banished me because of my selfish decision?" I asked Aura in a panicked tone. She was sitting active, ready to leash out and tear every single thing apart."Calm down, Anny. I will not let that happen. Plus, you were not being selfish. You did your job when you warned them not to do that. They did not listen to you." She replied to me in a calmed tone. I thanked God that Adam was not with me. If it was not for Alpha Thomas, he would be yelling at me, making me more nervous and more worried. I was already feeling guilty for everything that had been happening. And I knew well that Adam was worse.
SKYLAR'S POV:-Everything happened so fast that I did not really understand what happened. But one thing I was sure about. My sister was no selfish bitch or monster I had been told ever since we were born. Dad always told me that one day, I would see how monstrous and selfish Anika was. But what I had witnessed, it was completely opposite. I really could not think straight anymore. I was not sure who to believe and whom to not.Anika actually saved my life after the hellish behavior of mine with her. She never had anyone. No friends, no one in the family really talked to her except for Adam and our grandparents. For the first time in my life, I was feeling her loneliness. How lonely she had been all this time. When I would have held her hand, I just gave her cold shoulders like a bitch. It was actually me who was the selfish bitch, not Ann
ADAM'S POV:-I pushed her to the bed and hovered over her. I grabbed both of her wrists and pinned them above her head. I could hear her racing heart and her uneven breaths. I smiled mischievously and leaned over her neck. She gasped loudly and tilted her head on the other side. I growled under my chest as she gave me full access to her delicious cylinder neck. I let go of her arms and sat up on her. I grabbed the jacket I was wearing and tore it off of my body. As I know she was only wearing my shirt, she did not even have panties. I slipped my hands inside the shit that was covering her fully. I cupped her breasts and kneaded them. My hold was not gentle and that earned another loud moan from her melodious voice.I knew that shirt was oversized for her but it was a perfect fit for me. Still, I grabbed the shirt she was wearing and pulled it over my head. It was not the f
ADAM'S POV:-Just as I looked back up, suddenly I remembered the place. It was still a vivid dream but it smelled like home. As if I remembered something, or my legs had started moving on its own. I started running in the direction where the boy was running towards. I kept running for a while until I saw it. A baby-ish giggle escaped my lips as I ran towards the house that was almost near. I opened the door and as if my breath stopped at that moment. I gulped hard as I slowly walked into the house. I could remember the walls of the tiny house to be clean and painted with pure white color. But when I stepped into the house, it's walls were covered with red splashes all over. Even the ceiling had that splashed stains all over. As if someone might have filled the tank with red paint and showered it all over the house. But it was not paint I was able to sme
ADAM'S POV:-After a while, I started to feel a bit better. It all felt so real. As if it had happened in my life. As if I had lived that nightmare in my real life. For the first time in my life, I was hell scared. It felt like I would be stuck into that nightmare forever. I was reliving it again and again and again. I even lost the count. I could not remember how many times I had relived that nightmare in just one night. I just wanted to get out of that hell and I was trying so hard. But it looked like I was stuck in that moment forever. As if it was not actually a nightmare but a curse. Something that was forcing me to remember something. Or maybe everything that was somehow part of me. Yes, it felt like a part of me. Like a jigsaw puzzle. It felt like one of the missing pieces of the jigsaw puzzle that I had been trying to solve. It felt like I had found one and it was then placed on its pl
SKYLAR'S POV:-With a loud gasp that escaped my lips, I woke up again and sat up on the bed abruptly. I looked around and found my room as dark as the moonless night. I gulped hard and grabbed the bottle of cold water from the bedside table. I uncapped the bottle and downed its cold content in one go. I threw the bottle in the garbage and wiped the sweat off of my face.It was the most terrible nightmare I had ever had. I had seen brutal murder, a warzone and bloodbath I had never heard of ever before. It was a complete chaos. And every time I tried to save that child. But I also ended up dead in the end. I could not remember how many times I might have relived that horrible scene. I was screaming and begging for it to stop but no one had mercy.I sighed as I looked at the clock. It had not been long. And I knew
ADAM'S POV:-I parked my car in front of the small cabin in our territory. I stepped out of the car and took a deep breath. I know that if anyone could help me find the answers about my past, it was none other than the ancient enchantresses of our pack, Celestial. She was ancient and she was the most powerful as well. I went towards the door of the cabin but before I could have knocked the door, the door opened. It was Celestial who opened the door. Seeing me standing in front of her, she quickly bowed her head in respect. I bowed my head too as she was an ancient enchantress. She pulled her head up and invited me in.I frowned as it looked as if she knew I was about to visit her. Which was rare as my visit was actually the last minute plan. But of course I did not ask her that stupid question. She was an enchantress and she probably just saw me coming. She s
ADAM'S POV:-I stood up while doing exactly as Celestial had asked me to do. I just placed his picture on its place. I wanted to howl loudly and I wanted to destroy everything when I finally remembered everything. "James Hurler?" I asked her through my gritted teeth and looked at her face. She nodded her head slowly."He was the one. Your father asked you to go into the woods and hide. You thought that he wanted to play hide and seek with you. Your father was habitual of playing hide and seek with you. It was his first lesson he had taught his kids to become a predictor. More like, a lesson of survival. But you were never told that he wanted you to hide because of the attack. When he stepped into alpha's house, he and your family let their guards down. And that was the only mistake they made. To trust the predictor in the mask of a friend." She replied as she signall
