"Di, did you go to meet him?"

"No, just met him before his departure."

"And then?

"Nothing. I gave him a bouquet and told him not to return to India." Suhani wanted to avoid this conversation from the beginning.

She remembered the expression on Anirudh's face when he mentioned his departure with an expectation from her side. She kept her face straight and replied with a single word.

"Oh. Great. What took you so long to stay back." She knew it was the most pathetic and harsh statement that she had ever passed to someone. He didn't retort, rather have a weak smile to reply.

"Vista Project. I had to settle the matter as Adarsh was still naive in that matter. And the other reason is that I need an explanation longer, I bet."

"Good to see you Anirudh." That was Suhani's last reply before they drove out of the place. Stopping at a nearby flower shop, she gave him a bouquet of beautiful flowers along with a small expensive pen.
