Chapter Twenty-Three

After they had left kevin and kristen to themselves, they spent time together in the bedroom. Nacen sat on the bed while Alyssia laid down on his lap.

"Alyssia" he called.

"Yeah"

"I feel like the two companions the moon goddess said would help us are kevin and kristen"

"Hmm, why do you say so."

"Well if it weren't for kevin, I wouldn't know there was a volcano inside a cave in pur pack grounds and he knows a lot of things and also didn't the moon goddess tell you that you already know one of the companions, who else would it be if not kristen" "Yes, i think you're right. But we still have to figure out how to tell her about you guys"

"We'll do that when the time is right. It won't be that complicated"

"Hmm" she hummed in reply.

"Alyssia, come see me off. Its time for me to leave."

"Okay" she got off him. "I'll be escorting her home"

"Should I follow along?" He asked

"No" she waved him off "stay with kevin, catch up on old tiles okay" she kissed his cheek "bye. I'll be back soon".
