Schuyler's P. O. V.

"All the tests came back normal. Except that I am requiring you to rest more and drink the vitamins your body is begging to have." The doctor looked me straight in the eyes. "And please, eat much more than you do, Mrs. Riego. Sleep whenever you have the chance and do a lot of exercise."

I looked down at the vitamins he handed to me. And a bottle of sleeping pills if necessary to take.

"At your condition right now, I'm afraid you might one day have a hard time conceiving. And we don't want that, right?"

My eyes were in shock when I looked up to him. "What?"

"What do you mean, Mrs. Riego?" He creased his forehead while looking at me. "You're married now to a wealthy and successful man. Surely, he'll one day look for an heir who will carry his bloodline and continue his hard work, don't you think?"
