After that call with Ezekiel, I had to patiently wait for him to come home. He didn't say anything to me and just dropped the call, as if he wasn't talking to his wife! Anne, on the other hand, was strangely watching my every movement.

I don't know what got into her, but after hearing my conversation with Ezekiel, Anne's mood changed, but I can't even bring myself to care much for her.

I sighed and started pacing back and forth again. Ezekiel had been taking so long. It's near midnight and he still hasn't come back. I know that he owns a huge business, but what are his employees doing for him to stay until this late hour just to finish the job?
