New Place

The morning arrived too soon to put an end to their dream-like night. Elijah, for once in his life, let his heart lead him and slept next to her. And what a peaceful sleep he had. He spooned her from behind and draped his muscular arm over her waist. She looked like a dwarf in his arms. Too small for his massive frame. Her tiny waist was almost the size of his bulging veiny bicep. He buried his face in her blond locks and sniffed her hair which carried a faint smell of lilac. A delicious shudder passed down his spine. At that moment, how much he wished he had a wolf so that he could know her natural scent. She must have a sweet scent probably vanilla or strawberry.
