Getting Her Back

They both blinked at each other. Elizah was dumbstruck. She broke eye contact to look around her chamber. It is then Elizah got his senses back. He leaped off his chair and dashed out the door to tell the guard to bring in the healer. He also told the maids who were waiting outside to attend to their queen. He stayed outside, letting the maids enter the chamber.

A smile broke through his lips. She was awake. He placed his hand on his chest and rubbed it. His heart was galloping like a horse. He was elated but at the same time nervous too. He wanted to see her but his self-doubts were holding him back. What if she still hated him?
