Chapter Eighteen
The last of Fernanda's things were laid down in the penthouse by one of Mr Velasquez's Concierge, Fernanda needed a breather after that surprisingly exciting afternoon. A bath didn't seem so bad and a well deserved meal prepared by herself would be nice, but first she needed to put her things away and find out where she would be sleeping. Luckily Gavin's penthouse was two bedrooms so there wasn't going to be much argument, she would gladly take the second room.
Gavin got some of her bags after later entering after her and started heading towards the Masters room, Fernanda hurriedly held one side of her bags to stop him and said,
"I'm not sharing a room with you", she demanded.
"Don't be ridiculous, what is there to hide after everything I've seen. After all, we're having a child, might as well embrace it no?", Gavin debated with a raise of an eyebrow.

Fernanda woke up to a dark room with light only coming from the corridor, she turned to check her phone and was shocked to realize it was half passed midnight. She also realized that she was not in the living room but her new room, meaning Gavin came home and put her to bed.She scoffed and got out of bed to look for a drink of water in the kitchen, she sneaked passed his room so he wouldn't know she was awake. Gavin sat by Fernanda's bed side anxiously waiting for her to wake up, the suspense got to him so much that he began to pace back and forth in the room. She was breathing but he feared that she may have gone into a coma, she had been unconscious for ten hours after the operation.“All this is because of my foolish ways, why was I such a Casanova. The last time a nurse came to check her vitals she told her that if it was not going to be get under control she would lose a lot of blood and die, that scared her a lot but it did nothing because she was still obsessing over the kidnapping. Gavin’s mother arrived at the hospital and was at receptionist asking about if she could go in and see her daughter in law, just as she was about to get a go ahead, Stacey walked past behind her and realized who was standing at the reception.“Hi Mildred, good to see you again.
