Xander knew what he did and said was wrong.
But he didn't want to get attached to her.
He didn't know what he was doing all these past days.He got carried away by feelings and thought, maybe, just maybe, he could also have happiness, he could have a lover, a wife who'll love him, who'll be there for him.
But that incident on the day of his engagement felt like a tight slap on his face for even thinking he could ever have love or be loved by someone.

SCARLETT'S POV__________________________________________________________We were both driving towards my college now.Not a single word was uttered since we sat in the car.I was still mad at him for using such degrading words for me.
