"Are you with the key?" I asked him as he took off his suit jacket and handed it to me.

"Cover yourself with it. There's a window with a faulty lock at the back that we can go in through," He said, and we both went out in the rain and ran to the back where the window was. Thankfully, I didn't get drenched. Although Kieran was pretty wet.

He fumbled with the window a bit, and soon he opened it. He held my waist to give me a boost, and I sat on the window frame and then slid my legs over it so I was inside.

"I'll go check for the light switch." Kieran said once we were both inside. I stayed and closed the window back to avoid the rain pouring in.

Kieran returned, but the light still wasn't on yet

"I guess we haven't been paying the light bill." He pulled out his phone and turned on its flashlight."I'll go check for some wood so we can make a fire. We should still have some around here.

I decided to go upstairs and bring down some pillows and blankets too so we wouldn't have to sleep
