Chapter 11

Damon's pov

The launch was hell for Damon. Damon kept glaring at Stephen as Stephen kept taking glances at Nina. Nina tried to make the atmosphere comfortable but that didn't work.

After launch Nina was washing the dishes when Damon entered. Nina felt his presence and turned to him.

"umm let me help you " Damon said awkwardly.

" no I'm fine " Nina said and continued her work.

Damon went to the sink and started washing the dishes with her.

" Damon I told you that I don't need help" Nina said looking at Damon.

"Yeah I heard that but I want to help my wife " Damon said looking at her eyes.

Nina kept quiet when suddenly Damon touched her hand. Nina looked at him shocked but didn't move her hand and Damon was grateful for that. He caressed her soft cheeks as Nina took a deep breath closing her eyes. Damon touched her forehead with his and suddenly he felt something. Something that he had never felt before. He felt an urge to hide her in his arms and protect her from everything. Slowly he kissed her forehead and said " go and change the dress baby and water something that doesn't show much skin".  All this time Nina was quiet. There was something in her eyes which Damon couldn't understand. With out saying anything Nina just left the kitchen.

Nina's pov

Nina's heart was beating so fast. She has never felt something like that before. She could notice something was changed. She could see love in Damon's eyes. "no that couldn't be love she thought". But he had never behaved like that. She almost wanted to belive that she saw love in his eyes but she knew the truth. She knew that she could never trust him. But still she found hope.

It was night time now. Stephen was out to meet his friends. Nina found a book and was reading it with a glass of wine in her hand when Damon came in front of her.

"you're reading again I see " Damon said smiling at her.

" umm Yeah " Nina replied shortly.

Damon came closer and took the glass of wine from her hand.

"  you need to stop all these now Nina" he said softly.

"it didn't bother you before " Nina said.

" well, now it does " Damon replied.

Nina didn't reply she kept looking at her book.

" Stephen is in the house amd I don't want him to know that we don't sleep together. Just come to the room okay?" Damon asked.

Nina just shook her head in affirmative as Damon left.
