Chapter 41

Damon’s POV

For the first time in months Damon finally felt at least a little bit relieved. He felt like himself again. And there was no doubt that Nina was the reason behind this happiness felt by Damon. After he bought the things from the store for Nina and gave it to her, he wanted to spend some more time with her, he wanted to embrace her in his arms and just take her beautiful and addictive smell. But he knew he had to control himself. It was a miracle itself that Nina came to his house, helped him clean it and then had dinner with him. So, he did not want to jinx his luck. And so he left immediately after giving her the packet.

But here he was now, standing in front of Nina’s apartment. He just couldn't leave yet. So, he decided that he would leave once he sees the light of Nina’s bedroom is turned off.
