I watched Quade and Sydney — more specifically, Quade — intently. Neither expected to have Victor in their home so soon and I was certain Victor hadn't anticipated being here either. It wasn't as awkward as I expected it would be. After hearing what the witch had to say, everyone was on high alert. Petty issues like awkwardness between the werewolves had no place right now. We needed to find a way to track down this Fae so we could put an end to our problem.

"Do we trust what Witchy said?" Lilith voiced the question I knew troubled everyone that remained in the room.

One of the helpers in the house had led Penelope to a room so she could get some rest and Victor had gone along to make sure she was okay. Also, just to make sure that she wouldn't find a way to escape. He was not only a bodyguard but just a guard in general. Being watchful over the witch came naturally to him.

I understand Lilith doesn't like the idea of Zephyr's daughter being put to death if found guilty of her actions. It's like the saying goes " if you can't do the time, then don't do the crime!" I'm pretty sure there's no good explanation on way she's doing the things she's doing.

is she misunderstood? is there something to change her why she is doing a these things for attention because something else is wrong?
