Chapter Five

Sara pouted her full lips and wiped off the small tears on face before turning to look in the other direction which was probably a bare wall. For some reasons unknown to her, she kept having a feeling of being familiar with this person.

"Aren't you going to speak, I could send you to the garbage inn you were brought from if you don't answer my question." Aldophus threatened her with all the hostility he could muster. He was always cool and gentle but that doesn't mean he's feeble.

"Who are you to go against the Alpha's order? You can't send me anywhere without the Alpha knowing about it," Sara replied with a sneer.

" Maybe sending you to the meadow would be a good idea," Aldophus replied and pushed her towards the window. His eyes held amusement and authority at the same time.

If Alpha Calhoun hadn't come to meet her at the entrance she would've thought Aldophus was the alpha. Beguiling and domineering like a Lord.
