Emma's POV
I woke up to the sound of beeping machines around me, my head throbbing threatening to pop out of my body. I opened my eyes narrowing them into slits trying to figure out where I was .
At the door were two men, one with a long white coat and the other was the man in the tailored cream suit. I reached for my head which was unusually warm , only to find something tied to my forehead so I tried to remove it.
"Miss, miss. Stop..," someone said clutching my hand.
I focused my attention back to him, his blue eyes glaring at me worryingly, his dark brown hair and that dainty nose completing his gorgeous look.
"Am I in heaven?" I mumbled my mouth watering from the hot specimen checking up on me.
He chuckled then spoke softly, " No miss. You are in the hospital"

Emma's POVThe nurse drew the curtains allowing beams of light to strike my sleepy face. Emma's POVHe stood in the door, filling it, and hatred raged and flamed in the back of his eyes. I didn't miss the tension in the room as both men looked at each other as if ready to start a war right there and then.Opening the door wide, Cain gestured to Alexander showing him the way out with his clenched fist. Cain's POV"How incompetent are you really? It was one simple thing, I mean even a ten year old could do this right!" Emma's POVI walked down the street as the wind howled my dress from side to side. Today went on well, I mean working as a waitress wasn't as bad as Ace made it to be. For the first time in forever I could say that I was actually happy with my new job. Sure it didn't pay much but my co- waitresses were so supportive and Jada well she was the kindest boss I had met.I took a corner down the dark alley now approaching our neighborhood. Home at last! Cain's POV" I need you to go through the various designs before we present them again to the board""Right away sir," she said a smile forming on her face.It felt good having Millers around, I can't believe she made me go all the way to church just to promise before the Lord that I would respect her.
