Franklin high school serves as one of Cameron's night mare. They had just resumed a new session and truth be told she doesn't miss it one bit. It might seem like a coincidence that the school was the same as her surname, however it is exactly named after her father. He had made great impact in every institution concerning eclipse pack due to his philanthropic act. In the packs bid to appreciate his help over the years, the high school had been named after him.
One would think Cameron would be the most popular kid since her father practically owned half of the school, unfortunately she was the exact opposite unpopular and tagged as the social stigma of the school. It wasn't surprising since everyone at eclipse pack had a judgemental attitude towards whoever they feel was different from the rest of them. Cameron decided to be the most odd amongst them, as high as the population is only her stood out as the weakest of them.
No one wanted to be friends with a weak wolf, who couldn't save herself in times of trouble let to talk of someone else. Samantha on the other hand who had no relation with her father, is the most popular pupil in the whole school. She had her nose in every activities in the school, to cap it all Cameron wondered how Eve was able to convince Harry. But Samantha uses the most expensive car in the whole school a Bentley. It drove everyone nuts and it surprised Cameron when she had taken her father's own for a ride and ended up bashing it. Her car even though not as expensive as the rolls Royce carried enough weight for someone her age and status.
She on the other hand drives an old Audi model, that visits the repair home almost every week the guts to complain to her father always stuck in her throat. The memories of her home and this school makes her shiver, goosebumps would always form the moment she steps in.
When she was in middle school it was always on thing or the other she would get in trouble for unintentionally. It's either someone soaks her books in water and leave them dripping and tearing out in her locker, or her hair gets tied to a mop while she dozes off. Too many things she wishes never to remember but all ingrained in her memory.
She took a deep breath, hoping this new senior year would be different. Taking a step into the school hall way she felt a not so light tap on her back making her feel a wave of sting in her back.
"Hey yo mama!" Phoenix Black screamed out in excitement.
Lost in her thoughts, Cameron had almost forgotten she has a best friend. Whom despite her popularity had decided to pick someone has weak and pathetic as her as a friend. When they had first began hanging out together, Cameron had heard talks of her being used as a pawn by Phoenix. They had met in her last year during middle school, when she had been ganged up against by some girls in class. Phoenix had just recently arrived eclipse pack from black saints pack where her maternal grandmother lives. She was super weird, brilliant and crazy, also both of her parents are theta's at the packs infirmary. They lived quite large. Phoenix's presence didn't need to be announced, her personality made enough noise for her. She had proven to be a good friend over the years and always stood by Cameron making it hard for anyone to bully her. If you would need to get to Cameron you would have her to contend with.
"Damn it Phoenix! Do you intend to cut out my arm?" Cameron whined.
Phoenix grinned, pulling her to herself in a neck stiffing hug. "Hello to you too my best friend, thanks for professing your unending love to me." She wheezed.
Cameron let out a sweet smile, "I never said any of that to you."
"Cause action speaks louder than voice my baby."
Phoenix has always been super dramatic with her sing song voice that always made it seem like she was auditioning for a role play.
"Stop messing with me, get behind me." Cameron laughed
"How is that witch doing?"
Cameron sighed, wishing she could tell her friend what exactly transpired this morning, knowing Phoenix she would drag Samantha by the hair and beat the shit out of her.
"She good."
Squinting her eyes, Phoenix raised a brow. "You lying to me?"
Cameron shot out her eyes in shock, "hell no, why would I lie to you."
Observing her for a while, Phoenix smiled widely. "Better not. Cause imma beat your ass." Looking around the hall, she rested on the locker scanning each person as they came in. At the same time responding to their greetings, "haven't you noticed some fine looking wolves this new session?"
Cameron shook her head, trying not to mind her. "I ain't see nothing."
Phoenix playfully slapped her shoulder making Cameron wince, "you lying bitch, I can smell your wetness."
"Ewww, speak for yourself." Cameron mused.
Staying silent Phoenix hissed, "and the devil incarnate walks in."
"Who?" Cameron asked confused, as she followed Phoenix's gaze. Her smile faltered on the sight of Samantha and the rest of her egoistic she wolves. Who had nothing else to do but lap after Samantha like a lost puppy. "Just ignore her Phoenix." She said.
"If only she doesn't mess with me first." Phoenix responded, obviously not making promises.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Samantha taunted, her voice ringing all through the hall.
"I told you." Phoenix said to Cameron.
"The weak wolf and the overtly loud one." One of Samantha's lap dog said.
"You better shush that mouth of yours or I do so for you." Phoenix warned. They all turned their face knowing she would keep true to her promise.
Samantha let out a snorty laugh, "I hope you are healing nicely though." She said tilting her heads towards Cameron.
"Go on, move." Phoenix told her, matching her stare and daring her to say something.
Cameron was always amused at how hard Samantha tries to stand against Phoenix, everyone know she never backs out on her words and doesn't fear detention.
No one messed with Phoenix Black, she controls half of the school with her audacious attitude. It was always a moment of pride whenever Cameron witnessed her friend dealing with the bullies.
Flicking her tongue Samantha walked away with a flip of her hair, her puppies threading along.
"Do you mind explaining the shit she just said?" Phoenix glared, tapping her feet furiously on the marble floor. With her hands folded against her chest in expectation.
"I don't know what you are talking about." Cameron turned swiftly to her locker burying her face in it.
"I thought we said not to hide from each other anymore." She sounded angry
"Only if you promise to not go after her."
"I can only promise if I can take the blow she threw at you."
Cameron shot her eyes in frustration, "please Phoenix."
"Stop doing that Cameron, stop trying to cover up for this people."
"I'm not covering up for them. I just want to avoid trouble." Cameron was tearing up now, she had tried to hold it back all morning. But, Phoenix's insistence kept messing with her.
"Oh my baby." Phoenix moaned, pulling her into a comforting hug.
"Owww." Cameron groaned in pain, jerking at the touch of the spirit on her skin. They were seated in the gym changing room and had skipped their first periods. Due to Phoenix's insistence,Cameron had been forced to tell her the truth about what was wrong with her. Phoenix had forgotten she made a promise to her and had almost barged after Samantha.Knowing how much trouble that would cause her. She pleaded fervently for her to let it go, in her response she insisted on seeing the wounds and help her treat her.Phoenix kissed her teeth, "keep quiet and sit still."Rolling her eyes, "as your lordship pleases."Nursing on each scar the whip left on Cameron's body, brought tears to Phoenix's eyes she wondered what the poor girl did to deserve the awful treatment she gets from her own father.Cameron is a sweet girl which was too pure, however it seems most of the pack members including her family see that as a waste of time. She had a deficiency and wasn't worthy of being associated with
Sometimes Micheal did hate his job, but can't do much or complaints cause he worked to get there. His butts burnt half way in a bid to prove himself. Staring down at the pack files that laid In front of him, he released some of the other lesser packs weren't paying their dues right. He snorted, thinking of how much they are all playing with fire. Knowing he wouldn't hesitate to burn them.Closing the files, he stood up to grab drink from the fridge he had, had installed for situations like this In his office. He felt exhausted by the work he had compiled for him for the week. Swinging the beer, he gulped the content with his hands in his pants pocket watching the whole city as it bustled with activities. To deviate his attention whenever the work starts to get to him he stares out his thoughts taunting him.Questions of if he was doing enough nagged at the back of his mind. His thoughts revolved around too much darkness, they had consume the totality of him.He had grown up knowing wh
As Cameron and Phoenix walked into the lady's room. Phoenix strides toward the mirror and takes out her red lipstick. While Cameron stares at her, still glancing at her wristwatch now and then."Come on hurry up!""Relax girl, is not as if the teacher gonna reprimand us"Cameron rolls her eyes. "I have to be in class""I care about class but I care more about my looks""Who doesn't care about it?"Phoenix arched up her brow at her. She doesn't need to spell out that her dear best friend doesn't care about her looks and she doesn't entirely blame her. She knows her story and so Cameron just didn't have it in her."Don't give me that look""What look?" Phoenix feigns to be ignorant of her statement. "You know what I mean""Fine! I do" Phoenix said. She put her lipstick into her bag and glanced at Cameron through the mirror. "Are you seriously not going to come to the party?""We've talked about this Phoenix""We did but then you didn't say anything specific""My Dad's not gonna let me
Silence erupts in the room as Cameron strolled down the stairs, tip-toeing into the living room. She could hear the sound of cricket as the door opened. That was Samantha. She was sneaking out of the house as well to attend what Cameron assumed to be the same party Phoenix invited her to.When the door closed, Cameron dashed out through the back door. she was sure Jared and Samantha wouldn't dare pass through so as not to wake the neighborhood with the sound of his old truck.A car Cameron would option for the car junk but Samantha wouldn't. She called it sporty and would often make out with Jared in the backseat. Cameron had caught them once or twice but she had kept it to herself. The last thing she wanted was to implicate Samantha. Although she doesn't care so much about her sister, the last thing she wanted was for the tables to turn around and for her father to be on her neck.As she watches Samantha and Jared speed off, Cameron exhales. That was so close but she had managed to g
Cameron's eyes widened and she stiffened in his arms as Liam kissed her for a moment. Realizing herself, Cameron pushed him backward and landed a hard slap on his face."Are you out of your mind?"Liam smirks and quickly captures her lips once again, he explores the corners of her mouth and Cameron's eyes fly further open. She struggles, trying to break away from him but Liam holds her still, biting gently on her lower lips and she opens her mouth for him to gain further access.Liam kissed her, exploring the treasures hidden in her depth, and tasted every corner of her mouth. She opened her mouth feeling the butterfly kisses he bestowed on her. Cameron has never felt anything like this. No one has kissed her like this and so she couldn't resist him any longer. Cameron kissed him back and moving gently, she followed his trail. The intense sensation of his deep kisses evoked the weekend on her knees and she held him. Their kisses built anticipation of more passion to come. But Cameron
Before Cameron could fathom what was happening, she was already in Liam's apartment and he had guided her into his cozy well furnished living room."Do you live here alone?""Yes I do"Cameron nods her head looking around, she strides towards the ottoman, running her hand gently on it while still locking eyes with Liam to make a move at her. She smiled looking at the figurines in his living room. "You have a nice place" she licks her lips and Liam arches up his brow at her. He wanted her to make the first move since she agreed to come home with him. "Are you going to gawk at me all night?""Maybe" "Do you have a boyfriend?" Liam couldn't help but ask."Are you jealous?" Cameron said hoping she could see right through him but she couldn't. Liam was a hard man to crack."I'm not jealous. I have never been jealous""Do you have a girlfriend?"Liam takes a step closer to her, he didn't want the night to go on with them only talking."I have a lot of women around me. Why? Are you jealou
"Yea Rosa talk to me" Cameron doesn't need to turn around to put a name to that familiar voice. She could tell who it belonged to, it was Liam and that made a smile form on her face."I didn't mean that Alpha Liam""What did you mean then?""Nothing… well I… I–""I returned and found you poisoning the heart of my guest. Cameron"Cameron turned around and gazed at him. He looked even hotter than last night. Was all Alpha's like this? She was so happy he was the one who did it first with her. Although Last night wasn't epic like she had thought. She didn't dread it either but instead wanted to repeat it with him."Rosa didn't mean it that way""How else did she mean it?" He arched his brow at her and Cameron couldn't bring her lips to move.He intimidated her and made her feel so Little. She had thought Samantha and Phoenix made her feel so little but no. It was Liam, his demeanor was intimating and his looks made her feel so out of place in his life. If only she had it in her like Sam
Cameron couldn't contain the glee on her face any longer as she headed to school. Going on a three day sex- spree with Liam may have been out of the question but it was certainly adventurous for her. This was what she wanted and now she had it.She felt complete as she made her way into the library where she was sure Phoenix would be studying or at least pretending to be. Girls like phoenix had nothing to worry about but she had everything to worry about so whenever she came around in the library. It was to study and not to goof around. Although she doesn't mind goofing around a little but that was all it was ever going to be; a little."Where the hell have you been?" Phoenix whispered, yelled. She was worried sick about her friend for three days. She feared something bad had happened to her but nothing happened to her. Cameron wanted to be a woman and she was a woman."Sorry I got out""Out where?""Where did you go?""I went on a journey""To where? You were missing for three days.
