Sienna POV

"I'm pregnant."

The words slipped from my tongue, heavy and final. His face drained of color immediately. I could see fear rising over his features and spreading through his entire body, but I didn't care in that moment.

"You say what?" he said, his voice low and fragile.

I didn't flinch. I was already pregnant. There was no going back now. I wasn't going to abort this child. I wasn't going to have anyone's blood on my hands. I knew that much for certain. Yes, I was pregnant, and there was nothing I could do to change it.

He took two steps backward, ran his hand through his hair, then turned his gaze back to me. "You have to terminate what's in your womb."

I gave a sly smile at his words. Terminate? I thought to myself. I wasn't going to obey his instruction. Not now, not ever. I'd rather take the shame and blame than kill this child. I was keeping this baby.
