POV Lilly
As we walked the hallways, I realized that we were a bit early for lunch and most of the classes hadn't gotten out yet. The hall was deserted. I looked over to see Jasmine furrowing her eyebrows at something or someone. I followed her eye line to see Ember with her back to us, leaning on some lockers. I frowned as we got closer. It looked like she was crying.
"Ember? Are you okay?" I asked softly.
She looked startled and jumped a bit when she caught sight of us. She quickly wiped her eyes and chuckled.
"Oh, of course. Your men are all pissed off that you three went AWOL." she tried to defer but I shook my head.
"Come on, Ember. I know that you don't know us very well yet but we want to help. We want to be your friends." Jasmine tried.

POV GriffinWe all walked back to the table and sat by our mates while Dolph stood in hesitation for a moment. He examined Cedric and Ember carefully as he stood there.
