“Read this one.” A diary fell from the shelf and landed on the floor causing my heart to sink a little.

“Be easy with them!” I called and rushed over to the book. “Beltane?” It wasn’t close to the beginning maybe a couple of diaries in, so it was well after the barrier had been established. “Why this one?”
