Tracey's POV

"What do you mean that my son is gone?!" My mind went blank.

"I'm at his school! But his teacher said that they couldn't find him anywhere!"

"What do you mean that they can't find him?! Have they checked everywhere?!"

"I'm going through the trash bins now... There's trash everywhere... The teachers are shouting at me. And I don't know what to do!" Joan was crying hysterically.

I have to stay calm. I told myself.

So I cleared my voice and said, "Listen, Joan. My son is smart. He always knows what he is doing. He can take care of himself. Now, get out of the trash bin and stay with the teachers. Do not go anywhere. Don't talk to anyone."

After I hung up on her, I switched on the app that tracked Nathan's smartwatch.

And the blinking dot pinpointed Nathan's location in...
