"It's easier for you to take care of him, and the doctors will stand by 24x7. Plus, my personal helicopter is at your disposal. You can see your father whenever you feel like it."

"I don't want to move in with you, Lucas. Last time I moved in, it didn't end well," I murmured.

"I know you don't like the old townhouse, so I've brought a new place for you and Nathan. It's an Arts and Crafts home. It's phenomenal. I'm sure you'll like it. Plus, it's close to Marian High."

"Marian High? The best private high school in town?" I asked.

"Yes. I don't think Nathan should be hanging out with mediocre working-class children in public high school. He should enjoy the elite Spartacus education. I'm talking about iron will and physique forged in outdoor activities. Physical power alternates with mental strength. It will be best for him. Think about it. He will be taught by the best mind in the world." Lucas said with excitement in his eyes.

"But you haven't consulted with me," I said.
