Chapter 14: Friend
Hillary puts Kieran down and went to hug a close friend. Wow, it’s been months, “I thought you left.” She thought Marga flew to work at Xei city.
“Look at you still slaying that motherly outfit,” Marga embrace her back, her perfect white teeth showing as Hillary’s graceful laugh pleasingly echoes to her ears. Oh, how she miss her, “I came back two months ago. Gosh, it’s been ages Amy!” Amy was short for Amelie.
Hillary laughs at her dramatic friend, “And you’re still goofy as ever. I know you want to greet someone you’re very much looking forward to meet, no?” Hillary wiggles her brows towards her friend, who finally glance behind her shoulder.
There were stars inside Marga’s eyes, “Can I?” The genuine excitement in her voice was clear as she beams at her.
Hillary nods and she saw how her hazel eyes glimmers.
