Chapter 21: What It Means to Be a Lady

Just as she thought of the bad weather, her body instantly felt ill as she was nauseous enduring the different smell of men scented perfumes inside the plane for hours. A strange combination of different strong scents she wasn’t accustomed to for years, making her forehead ache when the smell had repeatedly travelled her through her nostrils.

She felt hysterically upset to have set aside the warning calls she sensed just for the prosperity of the company’s future in fear of bringing shame to the hardships of her ancestors.

Albeit the unexplainable fear within her, her cold hands wrap around her stomach as she witness another brief and swift bright flash from the darkened sky.  After the lightning struck, where no one know who and what it shot, the dark and upset sky rumbled and roared across the city followed by the sudden fall of heavy rain.
