Chapter 21 - Pt 3

     Someone lets out a screech of pain when hit and the three of us hurry forward. Everyone started to disperse into the forest and the girls run opposite ways into the darkness, unsure of who to follow I continue forward, especially when I heard another screech of pain.

     I have no idea how long I ran for, or if I even missed my way, but when it became clear no one was chasing after me I slowed down to catch my breath.

Leaning both hands against the rough bark of a tree, I didn’t expect a fireball to miss my head by an inch as it connects to the tree beside me.

     Jumping back with a scream of fright, I turn around to see the shadow of a figure. They didn’t say anything about using their powers! The figure conjures another fireball in his hand, I didn't sit back and wait for him to aim, I ran as if my tail was on fire.

     Which it was, literally.

     “Please stop!”
