I ignored Luciano and turned back towards Dom. “So, where did you go?” I asked.

“Australia,” he said. “My brother settled there after marrying his wife. I stayed for a couple of weeks to help them with the move.”

“Australia? That’s quite cool—“

I didn’t even get to finish my sentence since Luciano cleared his throat once more—louder this time.

I turned back at him and raised my eyebrows.

“What?”

“Are you not going to introduce me?” he asked.

I sighed and shook my head.

“Dom, this is Luciano. Luciano, this is Dom, my good friend.”

Dom smiled welcomingly and offered his hand. “Good to have you, man. I hope you’re liking Amari Coast.”

Luciano merely looked at Dom’s hand and smiled fakely.

“I have been liking it, but it seems like I don’t like it as much anymore,” he grumbled.

I clicked my tongue and glared at him before focusing my attention back to Dom.
