Jason walked into the loft and took off his shoes as he shrugged off his jacket. All the lights were off, signaling that everyone was asleep. He noticed Lana's shoes were still there. He felt slightly guilty that she had stayed there so late to waiting for him.

Grabbing some water from the kitchen he headed to his room. He gently opened the door knowing that she would be asleep on his bed. Shrugging off his clothes as entered his bathroom to take a shower. After 10 minutes he quickly dried off and dressed in boxers.

Swiftly making his way to the bed, wanting to feel her warmth against him. Being with her always made him feel relaxed. He walked over to the bed and looked down at her. Lightly touching her cheek he sighed. He slipped under the covers stealthily trying not to wake her. Wrapping his arms around her waist pulling her against his chest. Although he didn't want to admit it. She was always waiting for him. He didn't know what he was doing. She had been his closest friend and he wanted to keep her all to himself. What better way to insure she wouldn't leave him then to make her his? It started out as a selfish need. But over time he became obsessed with keeping her all to himself.

"You're going to catch a cold if you keep sleeping like that." He jumped at the sound of her voice.

"I didn't mean to wake you." He pressed a kiss to her cheek as she rolled to face him.

"You came back really late this time, you must be tired." She looked up at him as she snuggled closer to him.

"Mmm. I'm really tired. Re-energize me?" He pouted at her, making her laugh at his cuteness.

She leaned upward and kissed him on the lips softly. He leaned closer to her and licked her lip lightly. She slightly opened her mouth to allow him entrance. Jason slid his tongue passed her lips and caressed the inside of her mouth. Sucking on her tongue as his hand caressed her waist. His hand started to creep towards her chest. A twinge of nervousness shot through her. She pulled away from the kiss and pushed against his chest lightly, making him sigh.

Jason wrapped his arms around her again, pulling her into his body. Resting her head just under his chin. He didn't want to push her if she wasn't ready. Even though he wanted her so bad he couldn't control his urges. He never showed her that side of him. Not wanting to scare her away, when he barely caught her out someone else's grasp. He hated himself for it, knowing he was just being selfish. He knew if she ever found out about his other side she would never forgive him.

"Do you have any friend you can introduce to Clark?" Jason asked as his arms tightened around her.

"Why do you ask?" She looked up into his face surprised. Remembering how he had been so against it before.

"He needs a girl bad. I don't remember when the last time was that he went on a date." He mused thoughtfully.

"Well, I told you I wanted to set him up with Sora. I've been trying to get him to go on a date with her." She admitted.

"He didn't want to go?" Jason asked looking at her face, trying to read her expression. Looking to see if there was a flicker of something there.

"Yeah, I can't figure out why he's so against it. Do you think there's someone he likes?" She looked at him questioningly.

You.

"I don't know." Jason responded feeling annoyed.

"Last time I tried to ask he got mad. But I thought you didn't want me to set him up with Sora?" Lana frowned up at him.

"I've been thinking about it lately, I think I was just jumping to conclusions. I thought maybe she wanted to use him to become famous. But you're my girlfriend so I should trust your opinion more. Maybe you shouldn't give him a choice about it..." He murmured, an idea starting to form in his mind.

"I told you she wasn't like that, but what do you mean not give him a choice?"

"Well Jimmy and I have full schedules tomorrow but Clark is free all day. Think your friend will be up for a surprise date?" He asked her with a smirk on his face.

"You're a genius! I'm so happy you're finally on board with the plan to set them up." She exclaimed smiling.

"I just want my friend to be happy like us." He leaned down and kissed her on the lips.

"Mmm, Clark's too sweet and handsome to be alone." She hummed against his chest.

"I know..." Jason felt a twinge of jealousy at her words.

Lana noticed his tone of voice and inwardly cursed at herself. Once Jason was in a bad mood he would get distant and start to act like a jerk. Complimenting his close friend while they were in bed together wasn't the smartest move.

"I know what to do. Let's go to sleep for now and I'll take care of it tomorrow. You need to rest." She kissed his cheek and snuggled closer to him. She felt his body untense and he sighed. Soon they were both asleep in each others arms.

When Lana woke up the next day to an empty bed she sighed. She knew he was busy but it really bugged her when he just left without saying a word to her. She stretched before getting up and putting on her clothes from the day before. She wondered if she should just bring a few of her clothes to keep in his room, since she slept over often. She shook her head feeling slightly annoyed and walked out of Clark's room to the kitchen.

She shook her head feeling slightly annoyed and walked out of Jason's room to the kitchen.

The kitchen looked like a whirlwind had passed through, plates and cups were left all over the counters. Obviously the guys had blown through a quick breakfast before rushing off to make it to their appointments on time.

She noticed that there was a fresh pot of coffee. Lana smiled to herself knowing that Clark had made it after the storm hit. He always made her coffee when she stayed over. She decided to clean up some of the mess before she grabbed two mugs and poured them both coffee. Picking up both mugs she set them on the table and sat down. Taking a sip of hers as she waited for Clark.

"Oh you're awake." Clark walked into the kitchen freshly showered and dressed. He sat at the table across from her and picked up the mug she had waiting for him.

"Are you doing anything today?" Lana leaned forward resting her chin on her palms.

"Why?" He asked eyeing her suspiciously as he set his cup back down.

"I wanted to go watch a movie. Wanna go with me?" She smiled at him hopefully.

He shook his head at her with a serious look on his face.

"You don't want to?" Lana pouted looking disappointed.

"Shouldn't we go to your apartment first, so you can change?" He looked up at her with a smirk.

"You're the best!" She jumped up and rushed him to get ready. Barely giving him enough time to grab his car keys as she pushed him out the front door. He laughed as he followed as she practically skipped to the elevator.

"Let's take the stairs!" Lana walked away from the elevator doors, impatient to put her plan into motion.

"Are you that excited to spend the day with me?" He asked following her down the stairs.

"Of course! Last one down pays for the tickets!" She called back to him as she started running down the stares, knowing that he hated when she tried to pay but equally hated to lose.

He couldn't help laughing as they ran all the way down. Grabbing at each other to get to the bottom first. It was times like these that he really loved. They both reached the bottom at the same time leaning on each other and laughing out of breathe. They walked into the parking garage next to the complex and got into Clark's car. Listening to songs the whole way to her apartment and singing along.

  • How to Love   11. Mixed Feelings

Lana had barely slept a wink. She had just layed there staring at Jason as he slept. She couldn't bare to refuse him when he begged to stay and the glimpse of violence had made her heart race in a terrifying way. Perhaps it was the guilt that made her feel like she owed him that much. She couldn't leave him yet, she would just have to give him time to process. She traced her finger lightly over his eye brow, his nose, his lips. He looked so peacful when he was a sleep. If she told him what she did he would probably hate her, but more importantly he would hate Clark. She couldn't stand the thought of causing a rift between them. She could never understand when she heard about people betraying their friends. Now that she was in those shoes she had a bit more clarity. "If you watch me while I'm asleep I might get a funny idea." He suddenly spoke making her jolt. "How long have you been awake for?" She asked feeling embarassed, he opened his eyes and smirked at her. "Why? Did you

  • How to Love   10. Holding On

Lana woke up startled by the sound of someone banging on her door. She groaned and pulled the blanket over her head, hoping whoever it was would eventually give up. When the knocking continued for another five minutes she reluctantly got out of bed. Picking up her phone she checked the time as she sluggishly walked toward the door. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes as her stomach growled loudly. She had slept almost the entire day and hadn't eaten anything yet. All she wanted was to get rid of whoever was incessantly knocking on her door this late at night. "I'm coming already!" She yelled frustrated as she swung the door open. Her annoyance was immediately replaced with shock. Of all the people in the world she wanted to avoid right now, the one person she wanted to see the least was standing right in front of her. Jason. She stared at him for a moment before looking away, not wanting to meet his eyes. Neither of them said anything. A minute seemed to pass as they simply stood

  • How to Love   9. His Habit

The door slammed shut behind Lana. Clark stood motionless in the hallway, staring at it. For a few seconds, he didn't move. He could still smell her. Her scent lingered everywhere-in his room, on his clothes, against his skin. It was stronger than it had ever been before. The connection beneath his skin seemed to pulse with every beat of his heart, reminding him that something between them had permanently changed. He touched his chest imagining that be could feel the invisible string that flowed out to train after Lana. A slow smile tugged at his lips. She was his mate. His wolf had known it long before he did and soon Lana would start feeling the pull. Even if she couldn't name the feeling. Now she carried his mark. Clark knew he should feel guilty for doing it without explaining. But the intensity of finally being with her made him loose control over his wolf and he surged forward in that moment to fulfill the claiming. Instead, he felt strangely calm. He had spent yea

  • How to Love   8. Morning After

Lana woke up feeling sluggish and achy, she felt sore from her neck straught to her toes. Groaning she tried to stretch only to find she couldn't move. An arm was thrown over her waist holding her against a warm body. For a moment she thought it was Jason, until she realized that they were both naked. Her sleep clouded mind snapped into attention, she gasped and tried to move away. Finally remembering what happened the night before and who exactly was holding her. She was being held against Clark's chest, locked in place. She had barely moved an inch when he pulled her closer to his body. Pressing his face into her hair and rubbing himself against her. She started to squirm and away enough to get a glimpse of his face. She sighed in slight relief when she realized he was still sleeping. She couldn't help but blush when she felt something hard pressing against her back. Sleeping he looked so much younger and vulnerable, his hair falling onto his face in a messy heap. Lana light

  • How to Love   7. Fiction and Fact

Jason decided to go back to the loft early to spend some time with Lana. He'd stay out later but this time he was to curious to see if his plan went off without a hitch. Knowing Clark's stubborness , it probably hadn't been easy for Lana to pull off. He unlocked the door and stepped into the dark entrance. He kicked off his shoes and started to look for her. After checking the kitchen and finding it empty he headed towards his room. But what he saw infront of him made him freeze in place. Clark had pushed Lana into his room, his eyes glanced toward Jason and they held contact for less then 5 seconds. Clark quickly entered his room and slammed the door, locking it. Jason slowly walked towards Clark's room, stopping infront of the door. His fists were clenched as he listened to them arguing and then silence before moaning started to sound. He made no move to stop them. Jason was shocked that his interference would lead to this. Any normal boyfriend would have broken down the door an

  • How to Love   6. I am a Man

Clark couldn't help the smirk that spread across his face. Knowing that she had let down her defense and gave into him. He kissed down her neck, nipping at her collar bone before moving lower. He kissed the swell of her breasts. Licking around her left nipple before suddenly sucking it roughly into his mouth. He grazed his teeth against the stiff peak, while he fondled her right breast. Lana gasped when he abruptly pinched her nipple, sending a shock of electricity through her body. Her hips lifted off the bed, making her arch against his. She breathed raggedly as he played with her breasts. All the guilt and fear she had was now replaced with lust. Even if she had the strength she wouldn't stop him now. The heat of his mouth on her flesh was driving her crazy. Making her forget how wrong it was and making her forget about Jason. She started grinding her hips against his. He growled against her chest and pressed harder onto her. The pleasure he was making her feel had her panting. H
