Ryan tapped his foot impatiently. Ethan couldn't stop pacing around. Andrew sat undisturbed, engrossed in a big voluminous book. Aiden sat by the window, going through a magazine and Gwen sat at a desk with her headphones on.
Suzanne burst in.
'Sorry I'm late!' she apologised, trying not to look too embarrassed.
Ryan and Ethan both glared at her in disapproval, while Andrew looked indifferent and unconcerned. Aiden gave her a hard look.
Suzanne grinned nervously, scratching her hair. 'You see what happened was--'
'You overslept,' Andrew interrupted in a bored tone, not looking up from his book. She turned and glared at him.
'Don't put words into my mouth, Andrew!' she scowled at him and turned back to Aiden. 'So what happened?' Aiden asked, looking at her impassively.
She chuckled nervously.
'I overslept,' she said in a small, meek voice
