Chapter 53

'Hey Nerd. Snow's talking to you,' Luke called Janet's attention and she pried her eyes away from the table on which squad 10 sat and fixed her gaze on him.

He was playing with his fries absentmindedly. She decided to ignore him. 

He still sulked about the fact that the instructor had made their whole squad write "I won't ever fight my comrade" a thousand times. 

The punishment had hit him the most. He hated anything that made him sit so still or spelt of boredom.

And he blamed Janet for everything.

Ava ate her chilli quietly. Apart from Luke, she was also a fan of dangerous activities, anything brazen and daring and sitting still for hours wasn't her style. 

She was still trying to get herself back.

'What was that Snow? Sorry, I wasn't listening,' Janet said. 

Snow glanced at Squad 10's table. 'What's up with t
