The Dreams

The heavens gave a cry of dissatisfaction, threatening to burst open the floor gates despite the rain that had soaked the ground few hours ago. Asides from the constant thunder that roared, bringing with it flashes of electricity racing across the heavy grey clouds which loomed above, all was calm, cold and silent... or so it seemed.

The stars had fled and the moon was not to be seen in the sky as the heavy grey clouds had taken their place, moving slowly as the wind wished them to, and bringing with it, the cry of the wolves from across the mountains. She shivered as fear registered in her heart.

She did not know where she was, it was lonely and it was deserted, she stood in the middle of an abandoned town which she did not remember coming into.
