011 Honesty

I woke up in an empty bed and began to panic. Although Oscar had given me his word, I didn't know him well enough to trust him. For all I knew, he could be out there negotiating with the werewolves on how and when to hand me over. I didn't know what to do. The house was in the middle of nowhere. There was no way I could outrun the werewolves if I tried to escape. I had to hope that I could trust him.

I went out of the room to find the kitchen. I hadn't eaten for over twenty-four hours, and all the anxiety and making out had gotten me quite hungry. When I got to the kitchen, I found a lady there. She introduced herself as Riley, and she seemed nice. Riley sat at the counter eating a sandwich.

"You are up," she said with a smile, and I nodded.

"Hungry?" She asked, and I said yes.

She made a sub for me, and it was delicious. I left her and returned to Oscar's room to watch some television. I could not focus on what I was watching because I was worried about Oscar's intentions.
