After dinner, we talked about so many things. My parents wanted me to visit them in their home and hoped Oscar and I would consider spending weekends with them. Oscar was not comfortable with their request, and it got to me.

"You don't have to, I can go on friday and return to you on sunday." I told Oscar, noticing his reluctance.

"Darling you can't do that," My mother cut in, " Werewolves can't be apart from their mates in the early stages of their union." She told me, and I looked at Oscar.

"Not even for a weekend?" I asked.

"Your love is still young and fresh, eventually he will be able to allow it but not now. The mark will burn if you try it now because his wolf would be anxious. Until you are fully luna and have given birth, you won't be able to stay away from each other for long out of fear of losing the other. The emptiness will be overwhelming." My father said, and I looked at him.
