Once again, don't read this if you don't want any possible spoilers.
This one is a bit shorter, I am probably going to add some more to it once I really start writing. But for now it's enough to paint a picture of Torin I think.
And pleae let me know what you think.

chapter 2 : Better
Torin’s pov
‘You need to be more careful,’ Troy, my wolf, said the third time the vermin fell off his back.
I could have let him handle the run. He would have been more gentle with the girl. But she needed to learn her place.
To her, my hatred probably came out of nowhere. But I had learned to hate her family from the moment I had been born.
For appearances sake, I had to show respect to the alpha heirs. I could even tolerate the brother. Ruan seemed to know his place and opted to attend gamma training instead of alpha training. But the vermin especially got on my nerves.
Ardale used to mean something. It was a school exclusively for future alphas and betas. Then they let future gammas join and then the possible Lunas.
It was a joke really, because anyone could become a Luna. All you need is to be mated to an alpha.
Just look at the Vermin’s mother.
A half-breed.
By now the half-breed has created half a soccer team with her two mates. Which is all fine and dandy, I guess. Until they start pretending these pups are equals.
They all share the same double last names, as if we don’t have eyes to clearly spot who fathered which child.
Her presence here is just the start. It was a joke really that her father, Zev, was allowed to attend this school. But now she is here, and it might lead to even fewer wolves entering these sacred school grounds.
I growled at vermin to hurry up. I wanted to be the first to finish. If it were up to me, I would have done every task myself, but since I wasn’t allowed to shift back and this required hands, I was forced to watch the girl stumble and fail.
Finally she succeeded with the first task, and she looked at me with a little smile, “on to the next one?”
I pushed her to the side; she once again landed on her ass. The next task wasn’t far away, so she could walk there.
Her presence so close to me irritated me beyond belief. The touch of her hands on Troy’s fur made my skin crawl. Her scent was far too strong and nauseated me.
‘She smells like cinnamon. Aren’t Hot Tamales and Red Hots your favorite?’ Troy said, much to my annoyance.
‘She doesn’t smell like cinnamon at all.’ I argued. ‘She stinks.’
I reached the next task. Fuck, I did need the stinky vermin here for this one.
I watched her as she ran towards me. She’s pretty fast with those short little stumps. With every step she came closer, I could see her breasts bouncing in her top more clearly.
If I didn’t hate her so much, I would have considered sleeping with her.
Little vermin over there, just bouncing towards me, is not bad-looking. I mean, she’s got a nice ass, and her boobs look fine. It’s the face that bothers me, though. Every time she gazes at me, I can't help but notice the look in her eyes.
There’s no fucking respect. There's no evidence of submissiveness. Nothing. She does not seem to realize how much difference there is between the two of us. How much better I am than her.
She should be scared to even make eye contact with me.
“Sorry, sorry! I’m here.” She said and quickly began her next task. Since it wasn’t something I was supposed to help with, I didn’t bother looking at what it was. Seriously, Mr. Bianco needed to step up his game. Up to now, it seems too easy.
“So, um, from what I have deciphered, the next part of the challenge is going to be us sparring against another team? I’m trying to read this map and,-“
I growled impatiently. Figure it the fuck out! It can’t be that hard.
“Oh, oh, you’re supposed to go here.” She said, pointing at the map. As if that would help us. We were in the middle of the woods!
She smiled at me awkwardly, “there is a river nearby, so if I could just climb on your back again and we go listen for the sound of water? Or the scent of water, I don’t know.”
It wasn’t a bad idea.
Thankfully I didn’t have to tell Vermin that. Instead I lowered myself down and let my partner climb on. But not before dropping her once.
I liked hearing her little squeals as she fell down.
“Ass,” she muttered under her breath.
I growled and bared my teeth, which made her take a step back. “Let’s go?” She said as she awkwardly bounced on her feet. Nerd.
She climbed back up, this time pulling on my hair painfully hard to make sure I wouldn’t drop her. I’d get her back for that.
Once I heard the vague sounds of water flowing across the stones near the river, I took off. When we reached the river, there was a wolf and a guy waiting for us.
I shook my body, forcing Vermin to fall off. She landed on her face this time. Right into the mud.
“Um, I’ll give you a minute before we spar?” The stupid boy said to Vermin.
Seriously? Take the advantage…
'I thought you wanted to win. It’s a team effort, Torin.’ My wolf scolded me.
I ignored his words and began stalking my prey. The wolf opposite me was a bit smaller than me. I recognized his scent. It was another Alpha heir, called Gavin. He’s from a smaller pack like mine, yet he feels no need to prove himself.
Doesn’t he know the only way a pack grows in size is to take over another alpha’s land? And to be able to do that, we need to be better than the rest. We need to study harder, fight dirty, and do anything to get ahead, while people from the larger packs get everything handed to them.
Yet another reason to hate the girl next to me, who was wiping the mud off her mouth.
“Thanks, Harlan, but I’m okay to start.” Vermin replied, as she walked towards him.
I didn’t bother learning the names of anyone except the alpha heirs. The rest of the people here would be our staff. Why waste time on them?
‘Yet you don’t see it as a waste of time to torment Kiana.’ Troy remarked.
‘Just focus on the fucking fight.’
Gavin and I started to spar. There were rules at Ardale when it came down to fighting. Obviously no killing. But the rules differ for fights between those who have a wolf and those who are underage.
When fighting as a wolf, whoever submits loses. Baring your neck, showing your stomach. Other than that, it’s pretty much all bets are off. We can heal faster because of our wolves, and we’re much stronger. Giving animals a bunch of rules wouldn’t work anyway.
When it comes to sparring as humans, there are a bit more rules.
No cheap shots; no kicks in the balls, fingers in the eyes, etc. Nothing that can permanently scar you. No cutting off circulation for longer than thirty seconds. Preferably no breaking off bones, but that’s not always possible.
Whoever taps out, verbally or by barring their neck or literally tapping the floor, loses.
I knew that no matter what, I’d be winning this match. But both of us needed to succeed, and from what I had seen, Vermin wasn’t really a fighter.
As I fought with Gavin, my attention kept getting diverted to the match next to me. Where Gavina and I growled, Harlan and Vermin grunted and moaned. Especially Vermin’s grunts were very distracting.
Can’t she fight in silence?
It sounded more like she was having sex than fighting.
Even though I knew I needed to keep my focus on my own fight, I couldn’t help but look over.
Harlan had Vermin in a hold, and she was trying her best to get out of it. Most would have tapped out by now, but not Vermin, it seems.
She saw me looking her way and gave me a reassuring nod, as if she was trying to let me know she would not disappoint me.
Good girl.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Vermin flipped her sparring partner, now straddling him.
He smiled up at her, “where did you learn that?”
She giggled, “I have three brothers, remember. I’m not strong, but I’m flexible and fast.”
“Flexible, huh…?” Harlan said in a flirty manner. Before he could say more, Vermin moved quickly and had his head locked in a hold using her legs.
He laughed before tapping out, “Flexible indeed, Kia.”
I growled at them both. Why weren’t they taking this seriously?
Gavin took advantage of my distraction and grabbed me by the neck. Fucking Vermin almost cost me my match!
they deleted my note from my last chapter, but i wanted to say thank you for all your support and patience. this is the last chapter of this story. there is more to tell, but I hope i get the chance to tell it through their kid's eyes. I had surgery last week and have been very sore. they placed a mat inside my stomach against the muscle. I've been home and taking it easy, but even the smallest movement can be painful. I'm also very annoyed because the communication with this app has been very bad. I've applied for a contract for the Nivia story back in January, but I've been told to be patient. so I'm not sure what will happen with that. and I'm not sure how long it would take when I apply for the spin-off for this story. Sorry to end this story complaining. I just need you to know that it's not that I don’t want to write. I'm a full-time mom, with not the best health, and it's not always easy to write, but I really love doing it. but they're making it way harder than it n
Atalanta’s pov As I watched my family sit around me, I couldn’t help but think back to how it all started. My first day seeing “the twins” and now having twins of my own. Raiden twirled my hair around his finger and pulled softly, just like he used to do back at Ardale Academy, while Zev was tracing circles on my bare leg. My mates, my loves, the fathers of my children… They still are the best of friends, but I’m happy they confide in me as much as they do in each other. We all have one relationship, and then we have our special relationships between each other. While Raiden and Zev hate the idea of being mates, to me that’s what they are. Just not in the same way they are mine. But they have always belonged to each other in some way. “Mama?” My youngest looked up at me with her big blue eyes. I looked at her, imagining another little pup. I love being pregnant. Raiden growled lowly into my ear, ‘Don’t even start, little mouse. We said this was the last one.’ ‘Yeah, even I thi
Raiden’s pov‘Maybe we should just wait for the next one?’ I asked Zev back when we watched our mate go through hell to deliver our babies. It had been a brutal pregnancy. Not just one, but two giant babies in a tiny but beautiful body. It takes a lot out of a person.Remember when I complained about having too much sex? Well, our sweet little mouse was on bed rest for almost half her pregnancy, so there wasn’t much sex at all…What we did have was love.Fuck, I love our mate.Zev and I treated her like our queen, making sure she didn’t need to lift a finger. While she tried to shield us from her pain, we didn’t let her, taking as much from her as we could. One of us was always with her. Zev and our mate read books together, while we watched movies and talked about everything and anything. Suzie came by a lot, and so did the rest, to keep her distracted from not being able to do much. You know our little mouse has a hard time not doing anything, so being in bed for several months was h
Zev’s pov“Do you want to do the honors?” Lana asked me.“Shouldn’t you or Raiden tell everyone?” I replied as I played with my mate's hair.Raiden smiled at me, “well, you did all the hard work, so you deserve it more.”I laughed, “hard work? Weren't you the one who started complaining one month in because you were getting tired of having sex multiple times a day?”“While it was hard work, it was also very satisfying…." Raiden said, staring at our mate with lust in his eyes. "But you were doing the real hard work, watching me come inside our mate for months while you couldn’t.” Raiden replied with a wink. “But now we can go back to our regular positions!”“I think that might make him even happier than me being pregnant,” Lana giggled.“Almost, little wolf of mine, almost.” Raiden bended over to kiss Lana. He stood back up straight and looked at me, “Hey, man. I was thinking. We should let all the kids have the same last name.”“All the kids? How many do you think we’ll have?” I laughe
Okay, I know, I was supposed to write the final chapters, but then I suddenly thought about the twin brothers. and I started coming up with another idea and I had to write two more chapters....So. Now you can choose lol.Either Kiana or Kai.This story would be called Hunting my rogue or something along those lines. It starts a bit sad and is about second chance mates.chapter 1:Liraz’s pov“You need to run, Lee.”“No, Mom… You’re strong. You can do this! Just fight it.” I tried. I didn’t want to go. She had held it back for so long.Mom shook her head as tears ran down her face. Her hands had begun to turn into claws, and fur began to appear on her skin. “No, sweetie. It’s time. Go, please.”“But, -““Liraz!” Mom growled. “You listen to your mother for one damn time!”I bared my neck in submission, feeling the power of her growl. “I’m sorry, Mom, I’m just…”“Don’t apologize, Lee. Just run!” Mom said. I could hear the pain in her voice as she was trying to hold her wolf back."Maybe,
