Chapter two: captured

“First and foremost, the only way a human being can get into the wolf capital is through slave trading. Luckily for us, I'm friends with one of the slave traders and don't ask me how. And I just happened to know that they would be raiding a small village where humans live but they have no chief or anyone guarding them and that's why the slave traders would be able to attack them. Anyways, for tonight, you're not going to be a hero but you're going to be a damsel in distress. They have to believe you're a weak little human they can sell off and you being beautiful would just make it faster for you to see the demon wolf. Do not worry, they won't touch you because the one I know amongst them will protect you, just stay still and enjoy the ride" Myla sighed while remembering what her mother told her as she walked towards the little village. Her instructions seemed simple enough, she just had to find a set of beautiful girls and blend in.

She searched for Noah and Luane and found them lurking in the shadows. They nodded at her and she nodded back before walking through the gates of the small village.

Everything here was different from her clan, they even wore different clothes. That was not her problem now, the sun was setting and the slave traders would be coming anytime soon.

She noticed people turned to stare at her but that was likely because she looked different and wore different clothes. Back in her clan, she and her father were the only ones who had blond hair and blue eyes but it seemed like she was the only one who had them in this village.

“And who might you be?" She turned to the voice and saw a pack of beautiful girls and the one who spoke stood in front like the leader. Myla smiled.

“It's getting late and my house is pretty far so I was wondering if I could stay here for a night" The girl in front scoffed then moved closer to her until they were almost touching noses.

“I don't like your face so no,you can't stay here" “And I don't like your smelly breath either" was what Myla would have said if she weren't undercover right now, she would have buried this girl deep deep deep into the ground.

“Yasmine, cut that out" A girl with dark messy Brunette hair walked up to them with a warning look on her face.

The girl who Myla assumed was Yasmine, scoffed.

“Oh, look who's here, it's little Melody. Who's going to stop me, huh?" Yasmine walked over to her and was about to poke Melody's chest but Melody grabbed her finger and twisted it.

“Ow!! Let go" Melody kicked Yasmine's knee and she fell to the ground with a loud groan.

“I said cut it out" Then she grabbed Myla's hand and walked away. Myla smiled at her from behind.

          “Thank you" Melody shrugged.

“I just don't like Yasmine. What's your name and what are you really going here?" Melody asked as she turned to her with a suspicious look but Myla just smiled.

“Like I said, I just need a place to stay for a while" Melody wasn't convinced but before she could say anything else, a loud bang was heard at the entrance of the village.

“Slave traders!!" Someone yelled and everyone immediately broke out in a frenzy. Melody grabbed her and began running away with her and Myla had to go with her so she won't look too suspicious but she couldn't go too far so she would get caught by the slave traders. She had to think of something.

“Ow!" She yelled out as she fell to the ground. Melody turned back to her with wide eyes.

        “What's wrong?"

“I twisted my ankle. You're going to have to go without me, I'm just going to drag you back" Melody nodded.

“Alright then" Myla snorted as she watched her run away. She didn't expect Melody would leave her like that.

She rolled her eyes as she stood up from the ground then ran towards where the slave traders were. As soon as she spotted one,she fell to the ground.

“Oh my, I've twisted my ankle and I can't run away!" She acted exactly like a damsel in distress, at least she hoped she did.

The man in front of her, furrowed his eyebrows then sighed before helping her up.

“Don't fight me, I know your mother" Myla eyes widened.

“How did you know she was my mother?" The man snorted.

“You both have horrible acting skills" Myla glared at him. Her acting was perfect.

He carried her to the carriage and had to act in front of his men so he pushed her inside. She gritted her teeth as she stood up from the ground and sat down on one of the seats. He didn't have to push her that hard.

As soon as she raised her head, she spotted Yasmine and her gang inside the carriage and she almost yelled in her face ‘Guess who's a slave now' but she was a slave too so that won't make sense.

Just then, the carriage doors opened and another girl was thrown inside. She groaned.

“Watch it jeez, I'm delicate" Myla's eyes widened when she saw who it was.

          “Melody?" Melody grinned at her.

“I couldn't let only you get sold off besides, I have nothing here for me anyways. The only bad thing now is that Yasmine just had to get captured" Yasmine rolled her eyes and Myla knew that she was certainly going to be friends with Melody.

Myla and Melody rolled their eyes in disgust as they watched Yasmine and her goons ugly cry. As soon as the carriage began to move, they had bursted out crying and Myla thought it was ridiculous.

First of all, there was absolutely no need to cry because they would still sell them off and thirdly, her mother had always told her that crying made someone look weak and that in the future, she should never cry. Myla had taken that advice to heart and after her father's burial, she had never cried.

Now, this crying girl in front of her just made her know she had made the right choice. Myla hated looking weak in front of anyone but it was such a Shame she had to look weak because of her mission. She sighed and tried to tune out the sound of Yasmine's crying.

“Will you shut the hell up? We are still miles away from the wolf's Realm. Do you intend to cry all the way there?" Melody spoke up with irritation laced in her voice.

       Yasmine glared at her.

“Unlike you,I had a good live back at the village but now, I'm going to be a slave to a monster, do you know what they do to slaves that are beautiful like me? They use us as sex slave. Luckily, you can't experience that because you're not beautiful" Melody chuckled.

“Thank the heavens for that I guess" After that, everyone shut their mouth and just decided to enjoy the ride. Myla knew they were all thinking of how their new lives were going to be. She turned to Melody and when she saw the troubled look on her face, she couldn't help but feel bad. If it weren't for her, Melody would have never been caught.

She sighed and made a mental note to ask Noah and Luane to also look after Melody whenever they could. Speaking of which, she looked out the carriage window that had been sealed shut and stared into the forest.

Because of how stealth Noah and Luane were, it was kind of hard for anyone to see them but Myla grew up with them and could spot them from a mile away.

The carriage was moving very slowly so they were able to catch up. She smiled at them then turned to Melody and grabbed her hand.

Melody turned to her with a furrowed eyebrow.

“Don't worry, everything will be okay. '' Yasmine scoffed at her words but didn't say anything. Honestly,Myla had no clue if everything was going to be okay but she was going to do anything in her power to make sure Melody got a nice Owner.

Myla groaned as someone repeatedly tapped her cheek.

“Wake up already!" She heard Melody yell.

“Just slap her hard and she is bound to wake up" Myla couldn't help but inwardly roll her eyes when she heard Yasmine. She slowly sat up as she rubbed away the sleep in her eyes.

They had been on the road for four days and four nights with just occasional stops here and there for them to pee or go number two. Myla hadn't slept a wink for three days straight but on the fourth day, she couldn't help but get some shut eye. She didn't want to fall sick before meeting the demon boy, she couldn't afford to fall sick.

“What is it?" She questioned. Melody immediately pointed at the window with bright excited eyes.

Myla furrowed her eyebrows at her expression but slowly turned and immediately gasped when she saw the view. It was obvious they had reached the werewolf Realm because everything seemed different. The women weren't dressed in a puffy gown and corset like Myla had thought. In fact, they were dressed so simply. The female wore their kirtles and she saw some wore a corset on it but it wasn't required here. The men were dressed in tunics and trousers and the only way you could differentiate the rich from the poor was that the rich had on a fur coat and a lot of jewelry.

Myla couldn't help but fawn over how beautiful they all looked.

“Wow, who knew the wolf realm was so beautiful. Look at their clothes!" Melody couldn't help but say. Yasmine scoffed.

“Well,I don't think we should be happy to be here because any moment from now, we are all getting sold to one of these wolves and our lives will finally be over '' Myla frowned then leaned away from the window. She had forgotten her mission for a second there. For the first time,Yasmine was right. They shouldn't get carried away by the beauty of the place because they were evil beings who found joy in killing humans.

        Suddenly, the carriage stopped.

“What's going on?" Yasmine asked with a shaky voice. Soon after, a man who has a scar on his face opened up the carriage doors and glared at them. He looked like he hated humans and just wanted to kill them but he wasn't a wolf but a human.

“Get down, all of you. Do not waste my time or I'll do something I will not regret" Myla narrowed her eyes at him but they all did as he said but it wasn't their fault that they were slow, their hands had been tied with chains and believe it or not, it was hard to move without hands.

Myla clenched her fist as the man grabbed Melody and yanked her harshly out of the carriage and she fell to the ground. She groaned out in pain but the man didn't seem to care.

“Hey! Can't you be more careful?" The words flew out of Myla's mouth before she could stop it. The man turned to her with a death glare.

“Do you have a death wish girl Because I'd be more than happy to grant it for you" Myla glared at him but didn't say anything more. She moved towards the door and before she could climb out, he grabbed her hand and tossed her roughly to the ground. Myla winced as soon as she felt her flesh scrape against the concrete ground.

“Next time you glare at me, I'll make sure to pluck your eyes out" And with that, he spat on her. Myla gasped then turned to him with fury in her eyes. She couldn't hold it back anymore, who did this fool think he was? She stood up on two feet, raised one of her legs and kicked the man right in his neck, restricting his air flow. He fell to the ground while holding his neck and trying to breathe and the scene made Myla very satisfied. No matter what, be it acting or a mission, no one was allowed to disrespect her. The sooner they knew this, the better....
