Myla! Myla! Stop! Myla could hear her name being called but all that was on her mind right now was saving her father. Her father halted as soon as he saw her and his eyes widened but before he could move, the wolf boy ran up to him with the speed of lightning and yanked out his heart. The blood splashed on Myla as she stood there frozen on the spot. Her eyes were filled with horror and her hands shook as she watched her father fall to the ground. It was like the earth stopped moving at that moment. She walked slowly towards her father and fell right in front of him. “Father?" She asked softly as she shook his shoulder but she knew in her heart that he was already dead and it was all her fault. She turned to the wolf boy with angry eyes and pulled out her dagger.

“First and foremost, the only way a human being can get into the wolf capital is through slave trading. Luckily for us, I'm friends with one of the slave traders and don't ask me how. And I just happened to know that they would be raiding a small village where humans live but they have no chief or anyone guarding them and that's why the slave traders would be able to attack them. Anyways, for tonight, you're not going to be a hero but you're going to be a damsel in distress. They have to believe you're a weak little human they can sell off and you being beautiful would just make it faster for you to see the demon wolf. Do not worry,they won't touch you because the one I know amongst them will protect you, just stay still and enjoy the ride" Myla sighed while remembering what her mother told her as she walked towards the little village. Her instructions seemed simple enough, she just had to find a set of beautiful girls and blend in.

As they rode back to the palace, Cornelius couldn't help but notice that Ares had a deep frown on his face. He was about to say something when the Coachman yelled. “Hey!Get out of the way!" Ares and Cornelius looked out of the window and saw a bunch of human females falling to the ground. One thing Ares hated more than his demon was humans. They were liars, traitors and conceited beings. That was why he never bought a human slave before. Just as he was about to turn away, his eyes connected with a pair of blue eyes and she was glaring at the carriage. He understood why she was doing that but why did she seem so familiar? He tried to see her clearly but when he noticed that she had noticed his stare, he immediately retracted and closed the curtain.

Henry fell to the ground with wide eyes. “Spare me Alpha King, I'll get her ready for you now" Henry uttered with a shaky voice as he knelt down on stage. Ares reluctantly looked away from Myla and stared down at Henry with a stoic Expression on his face. “Leave him, Cornelius. Take her away and make sure she's ready in five minutes. I don't like to wait" And with one last glance at Myla, he turned around and walked away with Cornelius behind him. Henry immediately stood up from the ground and grabbed Myla's arm. “James, you can take care of the rest" James nodded and watched Henry dragged Myla away with a frown. • As soon as they got out of the auction house, Cornelius turned to Ares with a raised eyebrow. “I thought you weren't going to buy any slaves?
