Mystery of Her Past

A moment had passed, and Elora’s grip on Caspian’s hand loosened. Caspian shuffled away, dragging his hand. After making sure Elora didn’t wake up, Caspian left her. He had to go to Kate to ask what really happened. He hopes Kate already awake.

Caspian half ran down the stairs to the infirmary on the ground floor. Caspian tried to hold back his strength as he opened the double doors of the infirmary, but failed. A loud thud resounded in the ward.

There was only Zed, and Kate lying on the bed closest to the ward door. This ward was once the hall used for the annual gathering of the werewolves. Since Caspian built a new building near his vineyard, he has converted this room into an infirmary.

There were several beds lined up, with white curtains now folded at the corners of the rails. The moonlight shone through the stained glass, casting a faint reflection of color on the pure white sheet.
