Caspian heard it clearly. Kate screams, calling his name. It didn’t take long for Caspian to know that something was wrong. Caspian heard a loud bang, followed by the sound of a building collapsing. The creaking and crashing of the rocks, the roof logs, the shards of glass mixed into one terrifying sound.

Caspian ran out of his room, which was on the other side of the building. He even shape-shifted just to get to Elora’s room. Caspian saw a plume of grayish-black smoke along the hall. Visibility is almost zero.

“Kate!” Caspian shouted, but there was no answer. There were only panicked and questioning exclamations from the members who arrived.

“What happened?!” shouted Zed who had come shortly after Caspian. Caspian’s face was pale. He couldn’t answer Zed’s question. The only thing on Caspian’s mind now was how Elora and Kate were.
