It was almost evening when Gavin showed up. We decided to have our food outside in the garden. We had decorated the garden before Gavin showed up. We had brought out some flowers to put on the table to make it pretty. Next we had decorated the whole garden with string bulbs. It was very beautiful.

Gavin was a man in his mid forties. He was actually cute. He had a blonde buzz cut and we'll trimmed beard. He had startling blue eyes and he had dimples whenever he smiled. When he showed up I had to admit I was a little wary of him at first.

I love Grace like she was my mother and I'll do anything to protect her. But Gavin came and brought her a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of wine with him. He was also nervous when he took in the full house and I saw the way he looks at Grace when she wasn't looking. I knew right then that he was okay, not like I had any say in it though.
