ELODIE'S POV

"Thank you for coming to see us today, my child. We're going to miss you so much, but know that the door is always open for you, anytime." My mother held my hand and squeezed them lovingly, a soft smile on her lips.

"Always be happy and behave," my father remarked. I glared at the two of them before forcing a smile. "I will, Mother, Father."

"Your Majesty, thank you for gracing us with your presence today. Please, always keep my princess happy. She has gone through a lot. All she needs right now is someone who will shower her with unconditional love."

I snorted to myself. These people should join the film industry already. They would become amazing actors.

"You don't have to remind me of that," His Majesty began. He circled my waist and pulled me to himself. "I love Elodie more than anything. Her happiness is my top priority."

Wow, even His Majesty.

"We will get going." He held my hand, and we headed outside.

"Bye, my dear. Take care of yourself, okay?!"
