“Oh my god Emma! It’s been a while.”

Ara’s playful side shifted to her professional stance. A Luna of a well known pack stood before us.

I greeted the Luna with a welcoming smile.

“It’s good to see you again, Luna Miranda.”

I offered my cheeks as a greeting to which she accepted.

“By the way, this is my secretary, Ara.”

“Nice to meet you, Luna.”

Luna Miranda nodded at Ara once before shifting back its attention to me.

“How are you? I didn’t hear anything from you after the divorce? Come on, fill me with details!”

She smiled excitedly at me. Though I got a little uncomfortable from worrying if any ears would hear us.

I knew Luna Miranda as a good she-wolf. She’s the beacon of hope I held into through my darkest times. The one who never denied help. A deed that was genuinely from the heart. Those memories from the Lycan Jury flashed back. It was truly a wild ride.
