I glance across my dining room table towards the living room, where David is sitting on the couch playing video games with Brandon and Kai.
I still can’t believe that I couldn’t find some reason to not have him come here. My entire plan is to avoid him, but I can’t really do that if he is sitting in my freaking living room playing games. UGH….
A little nudge to my arm snaps me back to what I’m supposed to be doing, which is my homework. I sigh and roll my head towards Chance. “What? Am I not working fast enough?”
Chance clicks his tongue and shakes his head. “You are daydreaming again. We have all agreed with Paul’s goal for today, and that is to get the bulk of this assignment done. Then we can spend the next couple days finishing it up and studying.”
