Scott

The morning light bled through the blinds while I sat on the edge of my bed, shirtless, my fingers wrapped tightly around a half-empty glass of whiskey.

The burn in my throat felt like punishment, but it wasn’t enough. Not enough to drown out the image of Louisa looking me in the eye and telling me she promised Jace to stay by his side.

Yes, I get that he is healing up and he needs her by his side. But what about me? I craved for her to be with me, I wanted to feel her presence around me but I didn't. I couldn't.

I tilted the glass back and swallowed the rest, letting the sting claw down my chest.

I didn’t know what the hell I was feeling. Anger Confusion? Grief for the loss of a child I thought I never wanted? Betrayed?

So many emotions clouded my heart and head. It was all tangled up inside me like wires sparking in the dark.

I shouldn't have let her go, a lot could have happened last night. Damn it!

My phone buzzed on the nightstand, vibrating against the wood and snapping

Louisa/AgnesMy heart was pounding so loud as I stood in front of the mirror, fresh-faced.The water from my bath had long dried off my skin, yet I still felt heavy. I ran my fingers down the side of my neck, just below the collarbone, trying to steady myself. The thought that Celine was now in possession of my original body haunted me.I let out a shaky breath, staring hard at my reflection. I needed to do something about it. No one should have such leverage on me, no one, not even Celine. My hands clenched the edge of the dresser as I glared into my reflection, gritting my teeth and thinking of a way out of this.Instantly, I remembered.I did hear Scott mentioning that Mia's uncle brought three antidotes. Well, he gave one to Jace, he gave the second one to Mia. What about the third one?A slow smile curled at the corners of my lips, then I stretched my gown to fit properly. I turned toward the door with a new purpose burning in my chest.Scott was definitely going to keep the anti

Louisa/Agnes I let out a long, trembling breath the moment the door clicked shut behind Scott. Relief washed over me.I placed a shaky hand on my chest, trying to still the pounding of my heart.“What the hell is wrong with me?” I whispered into the silence, my voice barely audible, like even the room shouldn’t hear it.How could I be drawn to both of them? No, no. I shook my head and paced to the small mirror above my dresser, catching sight of myself, lips still slightly swollen from Scott’s kiss, cheeks flushed, eyes wide and lost.I grabbed my hair net and slid it over my hair, then swallowed my breath.I slipped out of the room quietly and made my way down the hall. When I reached his door, I hesitated. Then I knocked quietly, no one answered. So without making a sound, I opened his door. The room was dark, save for the soft glow of moonlight spilling through the window. He must have switched off his lights, perhaps on the belief that I wouldn't show up. I stepped in, closing

Louisa/AgnesThe halls were quiet now. Night had settled over silencing the chaos of the day. The doctors had all gone and Thomas was now locked up in a room.I sat beside Jace, holding his hand in mine. His grip was warm and strong again.“I’m sorry,” he said gently, his thumb brushing over my knuckles. “For everything you went through. For not being able to protect you...... I shouldn't have left alone in the hospital."I shook my head slowly, a small smile tugging at my lips. “You’re the one who almost died, Jace. You shouldn't be the one apologising."He nodded. "But still..... You mean the world to me Louisa, I don't mind dying a thousand times just to see you breath."My heart clenched. Those were so similar to Kaleb's words to me, few weeks before he slaughtered my coven. Not just similar, almost the same.I could still remember vividly, like it was yesterday. He said, "You mean the world to me Agnes, I wouldn't mind killing all my people just to see you breath."He knew his pe

Louisa/AgnesI couldn't let Celine get to Scott and Jace in anyway. Not when I know they want to uproot me out of Louisa's body.I had tell Scott the truth about Mia, but he seemed so in doubt."Why?" He asked again, stepping closer."I had my own plans on how to teach everyone of them a lesson."He scoffed, "You!... Teach Mia and Thomas a lesson?"Of course, he couldn't believe me and I don't blame him. He remembers Louisa to be naive, wolf-less and weak. But I'm Agnes Hale and part of my plans would be to harm those who tried to harm Louisa.Yes I took over her body but that also saved her life and it was after I had taken over her body that I got realize how much she had suffered in the hands of all these people including this Alpha Scott before.Louisa will be grateful when I'm done with all of them, when I finally let go of her body.Although the only slight problem is that only person who truly valued her was Jace, yet Jace carries the face of Alpha Kaleb, the same beast that ra

Scott"Scott.... The baby.." she moaned, breath shuttering. My stomach clenched violently.“Damn it!” I shouted. “Get a doctor in here, now!”The guards outside must’ve heard me because the door banged open a second later, and two doctors rushed in, eyes going wide at the sight of Mia slumped in the chair, blood soaking through everything.“She’s hemorrhaging,” one of them said, already pulling gloves on. “Get her on the bed. Now!”I lifted her gently, my hands trembling as I carried her limp body across the room another bed. She whimpered as I laid her down, her arms weakly clinging to my shirt."You fucking shot me!" She cried. "This is all on you.""I know... I know," I whispered against her temple. "But you have to calm down, please."She nodded, barely. The doctors were already moving around us in a blur. One of them asked, "What exactly happened?""I gave her the antidote to save her life, and after that, she started bleeding after coughing out the same stuff my brother coughed
