**004**

**Zy's POV**

I couldn’t carry that key another second.

It was sitting on my desk mocking me. So after class I snatched it, told Molly I was going for a drive, and left before she could stop me.

His car wasn’t outside when I got there. I went straight up the stairs, ready to shove the key under the door and disappear. I almost did it too… until I heard him talking inside with somebody.

I froze.

“She’s not gonna let this go easy,” Ronan was saying.

The other voice answered, but I didn’t catch it. I was already bending down, sliding the key under the door hard enough to make noise on purpose.

The door flew open.

Ronan stood there in a black t-shirt, eyes wide like he couldn’t believe I was real.

“Zy…”

I straightened up slowly. “Here’s your key. We’re done.”

He stepped into the hallway, pulling the door almost closed behind him. His voice came out soft, careful, the same tone he used whenever he knew he had fucked up bad.

“I never wanted you to see that. I’ve been sick about it since you walked out. I swear.”

I stared at him. Part of me wanted to believe the regret on his face. The bigger part of me was already boiling.

“You were sick?” I said. “Funny. You didn’t look sick when you were on your knees.”

His face tightened but he still kept the soft voice. “I know I hurt you. I know I—”

“You didn’t just hurt me.” My voice started rising and I couldn’t stop it. “You made me look like a whole fool. I was planning a future with you. I was turning down other people for you. I was defending you every time Ivy said something felt off. And the entire time you were living a completely different life right under my nose.”

“Zy, lower your voice—”

“No!” I yelled it. “You don’t get to tell me to lower my voice. You don’t get to stand there looking sorry after you let me find out the worst way possible. Do you know what that does to a person? Do you know how small I felt standing in that doorway?”

His eyes flashed. The soft act started cracking.

“I’m trying to apologize—”

“I don’t want your apology!” I stepped closer, finger pointed right at his chest. “I want you to feel even a little of what I felt. You took eight months of my life and treated it like nothing. You let me love you while you were out here doing whatever the fuck you wanted. And now you want to look sad and call it regret? Fuck your regret.”

That did it.

Ronan’s face changed completely. The sorry look vanished. His jaw clenched and his voice came out low and nasty.

“You know what? You’re really showing your ass right now.”

I blinked. “Excuse me?”

“You heard me.” He took a step forward, eyes cold. “You come to my door, screaming in my hallway like a fucking crazy person, throwing your little pain around like you’re the only one who ever got hurt. I’m sorry you found out the way you did, but I’m not about to stand here and let you keep disrespecting me in my own building.”

“Disrespecting you?” I laughed in pure disbelief. “You can’t be serious.”

“I’m dead serious.” His voice got even colder. “You need to leave. Now. Before you make this uglier than it already is.”

I looked at him — really looked — and for the first time I didn’t see the boy I used to love. I just saw someone who was done pretending.

“You’re disgusting,” I said quietly.

“And you’re loud,” he shot back. “Get the fuck out of my building, Zy.”

I turned and walked down the stairs before I slapped him. My eyes were burning but I refused to cry in front of him. I shoved the exit door open and stepped outside, breathing hard, hands shaking with pure rage.

I didn’t go to my car.

I couldn’t go home like this. Molly would see my face and know everything. So I just walked, fast and aimless, around the side of the building until I found the same dark stretch of wall I had run from days ago.

I pressed my back against the cold brick and finally let the tears fall, angry and quiet. His new words kept looping in my head.

Showing your ass.

Crazy person.

Get the fuck out.

I hated him so much it made my stomach hurt.

That was when I heard the sounds again.

Faint, but clear enough.

Moans.

Coming from somewhere inside.

I lifted my head, wiped my face with my sleeve, and stared at the dark windows.

Same place.

Same noise.

My heart started pounding for a different reason.

I pushed off the wall and slowly walked back toward the entrance, tears still wet on my cheeks, anger still sitting hot in my chest.

I wasn’t ready to go home.

Not yet.

  • I Caught My Boyfriend With A Man.So I Slept With His Brother   46

Zy's POVBy the next morning the campus had fully turned.I walked to the student center with Ivy and felt the difference in the air. People still stared, but the stares had changed. No more smug little smiles. No more whispering like I was the problem. Now the whispers followed Bella. Screenshots of her bruise selfies were still circulating. Someone had printed the side-by-side timestamps and taped them to a board near the cafeteria. Her name was being dragged in every group chat that used to protect her.Ivy kept checking her phone. “Her closest friend just posted a story. ‘I don’t support fake victims.’ No name, but everybody knows who she means.”I didn’t smile. I just kept walking. We were near the admin building when we saw the black car. Bella’s mother stepped out first, face tight, then Bella herself. She looked smaller than usual. No perfect birthday energy left. Just a girl being walked into the same building where she once sat and destroyed my scholarship. Two staff members

Zy's POVBy noon the whole campus felt different.Ivy and I stayed in my room most of the morning watching the posts multiply, but eventually we had to leave. I had a shift later and she needed food. We barely made it halfway across the courtyard before the energy hit us. People were clustered in small groups, phones out, voices low. A few looked up when I passed. Not with the old pity or disgust. Something closer to curiosity.Ivy muttered, “It’s working.”I didn’t answer. My stomach was tight. We were near the steps of the student center when I heard her.“Zy.”I stopped. Ivy stopped beside me.Bella stood a few feet away, phone clutched in her hand, birthday outfit still perfect, but her face was wrong. The soft victim look was gone. What replaced it was raw and furious. Two of her usual friends hovered behind her but they weren’t standing as close as before.I kept my voice flat. “What?”She stepped closer. “You think this is funny?”“I think it’s your birthday.”Her eyes flashed.

Zy's POVI didn’t sleep at all.Ivy stayed over and we sat on my bed with both phones face-up between us like we were waiting for a bomb to go off. The room was quiet except for the low hum of the fan and the occasional car passing outside. My stomach had been in a tight knot since midnight. Every time I closed my eyes I saw Bella’s face the way she looked in the scholarship office — soft, bruised, playing victim while she ruined my life.At 5:58 a.m. Ivy looked at me.“Ready?”My mouth was dry. “Do it.”She didn’t hesitate. She opened the first burner account and hit post. Then the second. Then the third. Within ninety seconds the same set of photos and the short clip were live across every major campus group chat, story circle, and anonymous board we could reach. No names. No captions pointing fingers. Just the evidence.Side-by-side images of Bella’s “fresh bruises” next to the original timestamped selfies from her own cloud, taken two hours before the meeting. The folder names sit

Zy's POVIvy walked in without knocking, phone in hand, hoodie half zipped. I was about to ask what took her so long when the smell hit me.I wrinkled my nose. “Why do you smell like sex?”She froze for half a second then smirked. “Because I was in the middle of getting fucked when the tech guy called. You’re welcome.”“You’re nasty.”“You’re welcome,” she repeated, dropping onto my bed. “He got everything. Full cloud backup. Original files, timestamps, the folder where she saved the bruise selfies before she put makeup on them. Even the draft captions she never posted.”I sat up straighter. “Show me.”She unlocked her phone and handed it over. I scrolled in silence. The fake bruise photos were timestamped two hours before she walked into the scholarship meeting. The original video files were longer and clearer than the scraps she had been leaking. There was even a screen recording of her editing the “assault” clip.My hands tightened around the phone.“She’s been sitting on all of th

  • I Caught My Boyfriend With A Man.So I Slept With His Brother   41

Ivy’s POVHe had me bent over the desk, jeans shoved down to my knees, one strong hand fisted in my hair while the other gripped my hip hard enough to bruise. He wasn’t being gentle. He was fucking me deep and steady, every thrust slamming me forward so the desk legs scraped the floor. The wet sound of his cock driving into me filled the room.“Fuck… ah… shit—” I moaned, fingers digging into the wood.“Take it,” he growled against my ear, pulling my hair so my back arched harder. “Open up for me.”He snapped his hips forward and buried himself to the hilt. I cried out, legs trembling. He didn’t give me time to adjust. He just started pounding into me, rough and relentless, the slap of skin on skin loud and filthy. My tits swung under me with every thrust. I could feel him stretching me open, hitting that spot that made my eyes roll.“Oh my god… yes… fuck me—”He reached around and found my clit, rubbing tight, mean circles while he kept slamming into me from behind. The dual pressure

  • I Caught My Boyfriend With A Man.So I Slept With His Brother   40

Zy's POVI was still on the floor when the knocking started.Hard, fast, the kind that didn’t care if the whole house woke up. I dragged myself up, face swollen, and opened the door ready to tell whoever it was to fuck off.Ivy pushed past me before I could say a word.“You look like shit,” she said, dropping her bag on my bed. “Sit down.”“I’m not in the mood, Ivy.”“I don’t care what mood you’re in.” She turned and faced me fully. “When last did you eat?”“I’m fine.”“You’re not fine. You’ve been ignoring my calls for two days and you look like you cried yourself into another dimension. Sit.”I sat because my legs were already done. Ivy stood in front of me with her arms crossed, eyes scanning my face like she was reading every ugly thing I hadn’t said out loud.“What happened?” she asked.I laughed once. It came out cracked. “Grant fucked Bella. That’s what happened.”Ivy’s expression didn’t change the way I expected. No shock. No gasps. Just a tight jaw.“How do you know?”“She se
