The kiss was domineering and lingering. It wasn't until I was nearly out of breath that Joshua finally pulled away.

Howard was shaking with rage.

Joshua took a step toward him. "It looks like Schultz Corporation has been doing a little too well lately if you have this much time to question the relationship between my fiancee and me."

Howard glared at him with a mixture of hatred and fear. "Mr. Zimmerman, you can't use business tactics in your love life. If you're so capable, compete with me fairly!"

He turned back to me. "Celine, don't be afraid. I'm only going through a rough patch now. Just give me a little time, and I'll climb back to the top and give you the life you wanted."

I stared at the photo album in his hands and said nothing.

Seeing that, Howard became even more smug. "Mr. Zimmerman, what's the use of being so rich and successful? You'll never win Celine's heart. No one can ever replace what she and I had."
