DARIEN

I had expected them to come but I didn’t think they would have the numbers. But they did and they were prepared. Their leaders were present as well, which meant one of two things. One, they were paid a huge amount of money for the attack or two. They were doing it for personal reasons, which I didn’t know what they could be as I had never had any encounter with them.

But then again, they were rogues, they didn’t need a reason to act the way they did, it was in their nature. There was one thing they didn’t think about though or take into consideration. My pack, we were not called the undead for no reason. We all could have died at some point, but we defeated death and came back to life.

Neither one of us was afraid to death, that was the different between us and them. “Undead! We don’t have all day, let’s finish this!” I yelled at them as I stood bloodied in the middle of dead bodies. My warriors responded in kind. They moved like the ghosts they were killing everything in sight

AURORAI tried to turn, only to be hit by a sharp pain on my side that made me groan. “Are you wake, do you need anything?” that was Darien, he was always there whenever I got myself into trouble. “Where is Conri?” I was trying to sit up but he pushed me back to lay down. “Don’t move like that, you will open your stitches.” I laid back reluctantly. “Conri is fine,” he moved for me to see, through the door I could see Conri with the seer on the rocking chair. I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding. “How are you feeling?” my mind went to the nanny. “Where is the nanny?” Darien raised an eyebrow.“Send someone to her place, she told me they had her mother. Please send someone there.” Darien sighed. “So, she was the one who stabbed you.” I didn’t care about that, and it was not like she wanted to. “She had no choice, D

ROWANAfter leaving the beta, the warrior took me to a pile of bodies. They were about to burn them when we got there. I searched through them; you could imagine how that went. Me tossing bodies around, The Undead warriors glaring and growling at me. But they couldn’t do anything since I got permission to check. But I didn’t find her, by the time I got back to the gate where I left Steven, I looked as if I as in the battle as well. Body all over my clothes and hands. Steven hurried to me; they refused to let him enter with me. I understood where they were coming from since they just got attacked.“Alpha, are you alright?” I nodded leading the way toward the car. It was in the front gate. It was like I was having an out of body experience. I didn’t find Aurora amongst the dead bodies. Which was good, it meant she was alive somewhere. But I couldn’t take my mind off that baby, it didn’t belong to the beta judging by what he said. But why couldn’t I stop thinking about him? “Alpha, what

DARIENThe pack was busy dealing with the aftermath of the battle with the rogues. The future king, Conri. Slept as if he were dragged. His mother on the other hand, I glanced at her. She was still unconscious, and her condition was very concerning for me. The seer went and came back with some medicine and applied it to her wound. The silver had turned the blood on the wound dark making it look old and infected. She was going to be fine; I had faith in the seer but that didn’t mean liked seeing the woman get hurt. She had been through enough and I wanted her to be happy.“Someone find the nanny for me and bring her here. Dead or alive.” I send a message through the mind link. Where was she, where did she go and why did she leave her alone with the baby. Who stabbed her? I needed answers, I hated not knowing things.I sent my beta away right in the middle of the battle to go find out who hired those morons and what it was they wanted. They was no way they could be that persistent. What

STEVENI ran like a mad man towards The Undead. People might not understand why I was the one running around for that woman. To me, the Luna was not just anyone, she was a good woman. Someone who was nice to an outcast like me even though I was one of the high-ranking wolves. No one cared for me or bothered to listen to me.That was the alpha’s doing, always listening to Jayson and Greyson. I didn’t even know why he listened to Greyson when he was not part of the pack’s management or was it because he was of beta blood. Was he trying to make up for the fact that he chose Jayson instead of him to be his beta? I didn’t know. But what I didn’t understand was why was I treated indifferently by them? Only the Luna reported things to me. Gave me a plate of food or a cup of coffee or snack when I was working late. If she knew I was in the office with the alpha, she would bring me food as well.If not, she would check on me in the back yard and bring me food. That was the kind of person she w

ROWAN“Something is wrong with our mate?” I stood, for the past days I had been trying to get back to my routine. Going to the training grounds in the morning but I skipped the runs with Jayson and Greyson. I was not ready to force a smile with them as if everything was okay. I had also taken back some of the pack duties from father.Nothing too serious, though. I was in my office going through some paperwork when Damon decided it was a good idea to tell me about our mate. “What is wrong, can you tell where she is?” Aurora was alive, that was for sure, but I didn’t know where she was.“I can’t tell where she is, but I can feel her distress.” I paced, what was I going to do about that, huh? Sit around crossing fingers and hope for the best. Just where the fuck was, she and what was going on with her? The door suddenly opened and in walked my mother. I sighed feeling drained already, I knew whatever she was going to say was something I was not going to like. But she did look happy, wha
